Golden blonde, a lot of white, creamy head. Beautiful.
Smell: malt, candy sugar, pear, yeast, some alcohol.
And orange peel. Very belgian, not bad.
Malt and candy sugar in the taste, too, yeast. Again, very belgian.
Not heavy, even if the alcohol is present.
Fruit (pear and peach) in the aftertaste.
Classic, honest.

On tap at Mirage in De Panne, Belgium.
This one is just straight up good. Name a blonde hottie popping out of a cake (or whatever you are into) and that’s what you have here. A Jack in the box that entertains for days. Tasty as hell, but smooth like heaven, Raul feels redeemed.

Wow, what a lovely beer. The 8.5% comes through loud and clear, but it's all so balanced and elegant. Looks great, great ongoing carbonation, wonderful full and interesting taste and the mouthfeel is full-on, even for a weighty 8.5%. Put another way this Blond has more presence than the 8.0% Tripel I've just enjoyed.
I wish I'd got to this earlier in the evening on a fresh palate - what an accomplished beer.

From elcervecero. In La Trappe chalice. Watching True Detective 2x08. One of the best in its style. Very tasty, with a very well placed belgian sugary and alcohol.

Color: gold with light orange reflections, a clear head white, well adorned with glass.
Aroma: Fruity, where the red, sweet fruits mixed with acid, white fruits, background delicate malt.
The taste of the fruit we have again, a bit maltiness.
Bitterness is always at the finish, fairly clear, high saturation, very fit.
