330 ml. 'Bier De Luxe' can into a water glass of all things. The Gluck can opens with a robust crack and pours a clear golden straw with a thick carpet of white foam. Decent retention initially but the beer does tend to outgas too swiftly as rapid fire bubbles emanate from the bottom of the glass. Still not a bad pour.

Aroma of pale grain and some light yeast notes. The brewer wasn't being very noble with regard to hops in this one however. No detectable hop presence was to be found. The aroma wasn't bad by any means, it just wasn't in the neighborhood of expectations.

Flavor is watery and thin. Touch of grain but little else and lacking any hops to support the situation. Finishes very dry with a light grainy yet not bitter close. Coarse character common in the 'pils' style is largely absent.

Overall a distinctly sub par offering from start to finish as far as being a pilsener, though surely not an adjunct lager either. There's nothing 'wrong' with this beer, which places it above many others. Yet there is not much 'right' about this beer either.

Few aromas in the nose and taste unpleasant. This beer is very similar to water and is, thus, easy to drink and is a worthwhile choice for evening student. The finish offers little flavor except bitterness artificial unconvincing. A very ordinary lager and unpleasant in the mouth.

Got this can down on the corner across from the train station in Schaerbeek, Brussels, Belgium yesterday. Poured with an off-white fine foamy head and a little lace. Aroma is slightly bitter common lager - beery. Color is very clear yellow gold. Flavor's like aroma but a lot sweeter. Had a couple of potato chips to neutralize my palate from a previous lager. and this one can't clear the chip flavor. Less flavor than a potato chip. Guess I wouldn't recommend it.
