This is a beer that is all about where you are drinking it. Had multiple times on a recent vacation to Vietnam. This is a composite of my impressions.

Served cold from a bottle into a rather small glass kind of like a water glass. This seems the common glass given.

Pale gold with a white head. Head fills much of the glass but dissipates to scant lacing.

Not much smell.

Taste is sweet malt with some graininess; not too strong. Not much hop presence but not expecting this. A little bitterness at the end but not much. No skunkiness or other bad aftertastes

Less carbonated than I might expect but overall mouthfeel OK.

This is a beer that is just right for drinking in Vietnam and all of SE Asia. Refreshing when served cold, goes well with the food and with the stifling heat of July in Hanoi. Better than most of the other options and can often be purchased for under $1 (US). Will I drink this or search for it here in the USA? No. But I will buy it again the next time I am traveling in SE Asia...at least until the beer options get much better there than they currently are.

Had a bottle with dinner at a sushi place earlier and it poured clear yellow color with an average sized white head that faded quickly and left basically zero lacing. Pretty much what I expected.

Smelled like a typical mass produced lager with a corn, malt and caramel sweetness, some wet cardboard and faint hops. Muted and dull, I didn't expect much and didn't get much out of it.

Taste is basic with malt, bread crust, light caramel, grains and a sweetness that helps wash it down quickly while covering up the wet cardboard, grass and corn or vegetable husk.

Easy to drink with an average body, average carbonation that's on the crisp side with a malty sweetness that covers up the lack of hops and true flavor. Finishes clean and is pretty much average at best in every way. That being said, I'd have it again to wash down any Japanese or Asian meal.

Too be honest, I was expecting a lot, lot worse. Slight hint of amber flavor, think of this as an Asian knock off of a Budweiser l, a lot better than the garbage I've had in green bottles

Cant believe I haven't reviewed this one - I have drunk a lot of it on hot Singapore nights.
It's OK, It's OK, it's lager, but it also has a dull taste, so i dunno...
Good if it's cheap on a hot day....

Seemed to be the only beer I could get on tap in Singapore

A: Pale golden. Weak head

S: Not much to say. If there was a generic smell of beer, this would be it

T: More bitter than expected. Other than that, nothing stands out

M: Less watery than expected. Well carbonated

O: Not a bad summerbeer in a hot humid Singapore. But no big experience drinking it. You get pretty much what you expect from a adjunct
