Tiger pours a fizzy yellow, with a quickly dissipating head. Mellow aroma, with hints of corn. Taste has some corn like adjunct flavors, but lighter. Okay feel. Overall, for an adjunct its not too bad.

From the tall boy can in a snifter. This lager pours a light golden color with
a modest head of white foam that settles to a thin ring and little lacing. Nose
is almost non-existent. Light malts and subtle grains. Flavor follows with light
grains and minimal malt with a touch of rice and hops to keep it in order of
your standard domestic with a clean aftertaste. Watery and light mouth feel
hits the notes of a standard domestic brew that is mass produced with a light
bitterness that is lightly grassy with medium carbonation. Overall...slightly
above decent. A session brew for the masses.

A good Lager beer, not special in regards to uniqueness. When first pouring the beer, it is water like with a light golden color. I would give it a 2, just because it wasn't very flavorful or special. Would be great if there wasn't any other options.

From the bottle, it pours a pale golden with a small head, quickly dissipating. Very light scent, followed by very light flavor with just a touch of bitterness. Imagine how refreshing a cold one of these would be after a simmering hot day in Singapore!

So this is your run of the mill aal. Not much else to say about it. I did give it a 3.25 on taste because it's fairly drinkable, whatever that means. When I do t want to have to think while I drink, tiger beer would be one I'd reach for. Cheers Bas

When you are out walking around in Singapore and you alight on some purveyor of street food, dripping with sweat and nearing dehydration, a cold glass of Tiger goes down so good.

Its clear color give this beer a nice look at first. The clear yellow with the SRM around 3 give it a appealing look. This beer seem to be well filtered.
The smell Is ok and is attracting.
Once you have a sip you discover the medium bitterness of this beer. The bitterness IBU should be around 10, it's not bad.

This beer is in the middle of my tasting chart. Not that bad at all.
The foam of this one is not major, just small foaming at the beginning, and disappear very fast.

The 500 ml can retailed for 3.30$ (CAD) and the ABV is 5.0%.

Somewhat a nice beer to drink

From the Land of the Monsoon Waters.

Not saying this is made with runoff rain water but probably wouldn't taste any different if it was. Proof the AAL style can be made elsewhere, just need the facility. Tiger beer is very close to being indistinguishable from similar beers made domestically and wouldn't stand out in a blind tasting. Cool label (liked the old one better) and packaging, but the light color, mild taste, absence of malt/hops to any degree, and overall feel generally just makes one feel blah.

Has the cachet of an import if that matters.

Really like the bitterness...though everything else does not quite make this memorable. With a bit more strength or fruitiness, this crisp beer would be pretty great.

Still, much better than most other lagers.

Like most beers from anywhere other than the US or UK, this is a crappy lager that essentially tastes like Budweiser. The smell is metallic and the taste is bland with just the slightest bitterness. I'd drink it if nothing else was available, but . . . meh

Pours clear, straw yellow in color with 1/4 inch head. Taste is straw, grass, and light toasted malt. Very light and clean. Tasty and not offensive for the style. One that I could have several of, but nothing I will rush out for.

Poured at 43°F from an 11.2oz bottle into a Pilsner glass. Consumed on 12Feb16.
LOOK: Pours with 2 fingers of white foam that halves itself after a minute and a half. Gold in color. There is a plethora of medium-sized rising bubbles. Lacing is high in quantity and thick with a few spotted areas being very thick.
SMELL: Mild aromas of neutral-scented hand soap, sugar water, and spicy hops combine with subtle aromas of grassy barley and hints of car exhaust.
TASTE: Mild flavors of grassy barley first enter onto the palate and are immediately followed and balanced by mild spicy hop flavors. Mild flavors of floral hop and hints of hand soap keep the ball rolling as barley flavors grow slightly stronger. Mild sweet bread flavors and hints of car exhaust enter lastly as all previous flavors persist.
FEEL: Full-bodied and moderately carbonated. Goes down somewhat smooth. Finishes with a mild dryness.
NOTE: This tastes a lot better than it smelt. I'll give it that. A great corn and rice free alternative to the American Macros, but that isn't really saying much.

Slightly darker appearance than your average AAL, minor 1/4" white head on it, barely there aroma of cereal grains and corn.

Taste was a little bit of metallic bitterness, almost nothing in terms of yeast or hop contributions flavor wise in the mouthfeel. Certainly comes off thin and bland. Minor sweetness from the corn I suspect.

Too expensive for what it is.

A solid lager; a good choice with the East Indian food that we were having at the time.
It doesn't have the chemical persistance of North americal commercial lagers, nor the gypsum water flavor of UK brews, and it reminds me more of a Heiniken than anything else.

This was my fourth beer while travelling on business in China in April 2015. This beer has a 5.0 ABV and was poured from a standard size, dark bottle into a glass.

A - golden color, with little carbonation and a head that dissipated quickly. A watery appearance.
S - not much to speak of; light, faint - hint of grass
T - light, with little flavor
F - left a faint hop on the palate, but nothing more

Very disappointing!

Singapore, check. Another tropical pale lager, check. Almost no aroma, points for it not smelling bad. Appearance, drab and lifeless, golden water. Taste, some malt and grains, very light, no finish or aftertaste. Hot weather thirst quencher, period.

This is really a pretty "meh" beer in my opinion. It's available in most places in SE Asia, so I'll grab it on occasion. There's not really anything special about it - pretty light, not a whole lot of flavor, but drinkable.

it's smooth and easy to drink but other than that it's a low quality beer. very bland taste and smell, you're better off just buying budweiser and getting more bang for your buck.

Pours to a generous head that lasts and laces. Clear straw gold. Aroma is sweet grains and faint grassy hops . Flavor... Much like Heineken. Not bad for what it is.

The beer pours out into a Duvel glass a bright clear light golden yellow with a fluffy 1" white head that recedes fairly soon to a layer of foam and a ring around the glass, leaving some irregular long patches of lacing. Sipping creates sheets, patches and legs of lacing that mostly slide back down to the surface.

The aromas are light, faint and fresh with some grassy hop and traces of malt.

The flavors are lightly sweet with a touch of fruitiness that has a bit of herbal dryness.

The mouth feel is on the light side of medium bodied and has a light crispness from the gentle carbonation. The finish is medium length, begins in the sweetness that fades to dryness with a gentle touch of hops at the end.

Overall this is a reasonable beer for the style and while I won't be seeking out another, I could see drinking a few on a hot summer day. Unlike some of the imported AALs I've tried the sweetness does not cloy or become unpleasant.

Canned at a Thai restaurant in Downtown Detroit. Was unable to take notes so the review will be fairly short.

A lot of countries seem to be getting in on the fad of making an inexpensive copy of the American Adjunct. Usually, They tend to do it a bit better than us. However seeing as this thing comes from Singapore I'm not quite sure what to expect.

Look - I drank this beer directly out of the can, So I can only imagine it to be a typical clear yellow with a frothed white head that fizzles to nothingless and doesn't leave a spot of lacing.

Smell - The rice is a dominate player in this nose, however it isn't the same type of rice and as a Budweiser per say. It is very clean and fresh.

Taste - This beer virtually tastes like rice. However if this rice were food instead of a beer product it would be quite delicious and crisp. Usually AALs taste rather stale but this flavor profile is basic and exactly what it needs to be.

Feel - Medium bodied with light carbonation. Smooth drinking.

Overall - Well alright, this was pretty good as far as the style goes.

Serving Type: 500 mL Can

A- Pale Golden topped by a heaping white head that has incredible retention. Ton of lacing on the glass. '

S- Faint aroma of adjuncts. Pretty standard for an AAL.

T- Pungent flavour of corn, rice, and god knows what else. The flavour of this beer was so repulsive that it compelled me to ponder on it's similarity to urine.

M- Light body and high carbonation. Standard stuff.

O- First of all, I would like to say that I have absolutely no objection to having a Coors, Budweiser, Miller, etc. but this AAL was absolutely horrid. I drain-poured half of the can (which I rarely do) and had to take a minute to think of my happy place and reflect on the pain I had just suffered. I guess it's quite true in this case that looks aren't everything.

A sweet adjunct Lager with a malty honey hint, it looks standard and comes through for what it is. No fault here as it is what it is and does it well, I'd be fine if someone gave me a 6 pack of this. Overall this beer is alright and tasted fine, don't get hung up looking for something...sometimes you just need to enjoy.

A: crystal clear; steady stream of bubbles rising; medium gold in color; 1 finger white head that receded quickly to a thin collar; no lacing;

S: sweet malt, a little bready; a little corn;

T: follows the nose; gets sweeter toward the end; no bitterness;

M: light to medium bodied; moderate to high carbonation;

O: not crisp or dry; a bad example of a style I don't like to begin with;

L: Brilliant gold to amber, ½” white foam collar that quickly dissipates leaving light lace.
S: Rich grain aromas joined by mild hops, light floral and faint apple.
T: Has some light flavor – light malt and grain, hints of apple, very light biscuit.
F: Crisp. Clean, light medium body and medium high carbonation. A little acid from the carbonation on the finish accentuates the dryness.
O: It has slightly more character than a Bud Lite.
