A light clean crisp taste than can only be achieved with a Bohemian lager brewed in southern style.

I am more a fan of ales and a lot of the darker stuff, but this lager is my favorite of all the lagers I have tried hands down. It has the taste of a finely crafted ale. Great beer! If you live in the South Carolina area try it. You won't be let down.

12 ounce can - $1.69 at Total Wine & More in Greenville, South Carolina.
Canned MAR/14/15.
Appearance: Fairly clear, straw-hued yellowish body with a small, short-lived, white head.
Smell: A little sniff of sweetish cereal grains, candied lemon, faint spice and a hint of yeast.
Taste: A light, cereal maltiness, a bit on the sweet side. Spicy, floral hops, restrained, as is its imparted bitterness with just a hint of fruitiness to it. Remains sweet for the finish.
Mouthfeel: Light-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Overall: I would've hoped for something a little less sweet and a little more crisp.

With a whiff of skunkishness as soon as the cap came off, this one worried me - was I getting some awful Heinie knockoff?
But it turns out the skunky note up front was actually rather pleasant - reminded me of high school madness - and it finished with a toasty, well rounded flavor. The combo was great.

This was a bit of a let down with a stale barley malt and some Pilsner and cereal grains. Very stale malt to a point where I thought it was past its prime, though it was told to me that it was a new keg.

Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass.
Aroma- Has some grain and hops but does has a slight skunk aroma.
Appearance- Pours an amber color with a large white head.
Taste- Not very good to me, has a heavy grain flavor with an odd yeast aftertaste.
Palate- A medium bodied beer with moderate carbonation This beer has a dry finish.
Overall- I did not care for this beer at all, in fact i haven't found a Palmetto product that I am very fond of. There are many Lagers out there that are better than this including the BMCs.

Pretty average lager...not their best beer, but easy to drink and better than a bud light.
