A - Poured with one and a half fingers of off-white foam on top of a clear, copper colored body. The head settles fairly quickly and leaves light lace.
S - Thick malt, a touch of red apple and some spicy hops.
T - Sweet, light malt up front with some herbal hops. More spicy hop character in the middle with notes of red apple and a hint of licorice. The beer finishes with bready malt, light toast, and moderate bitterness.
M - Medium body, moderate carbonation, and a balanced finish.
D - Nicely done, it is balanced, drinkable, and fits the style well.

A: Poured from a bottle to a pint glass. Had a yellow color and a hazy consistency. There was a small amount of foamy head that quickly dissipated. Good lacing.
S: A fair amount of malt in the aroma, with a yeasty quality as well.
T: Tasted of malt, light yeast, some hops, and an odd fruity quality. Overall, this is kind of a thin flavor, a little on the watery side, especially in the finish.
M: An OK amount of carbonation with a slick finish. Medium-bodied.
O: This is simply a beer that doesn't really rise above its mediocrity.

Picked up a sixer not too long ago after trying this at the Food Truck Rodeo at Coast. Poured into a Sam Adams Perfect Pint glass -
A: Tawny copper; off white, one-finger head; splotchy lace and good retention.
S: Pretty hoppy aroma - mostly of the citrus variety; some light toasty notes... interesting.
T: Grapefruit rind hoppiness; a touch nutty... it has a bit of a rustic malt flavor, if you will; pretty good at first, but gets weird / less enjoyable as you polish it off.
M: Medium-full body; moderate carbonation; pretty standard.
D/O: An interesting take on a California Common, this “Carolina Common.” Its pretty bold for the style, and bit rough around the edges... I really enjoyed the draft version more - for whatever reason. It seems a little off from the bottle.
