look: 4 | smell: 3.75 | taste: 3.75 | feel: 3.5 | overall: 3.75

Appearance: a orange/yellow. quite hazy. a finger or so of a white head that fades slowly

Smell: grapefruit and floral hops, more hops, some sweetness

Taste: strong grapefruit and floral hop notes. sweetness that could either be malts or honey.

Mouthfeel: the overall feel comes off a little odd from the bitter sweet mixture. fairly light

Overall: a good and tasty DIPA but pales in comparison to Alchemy Hour. But Great Lakes never ends up disappointing me.

Poured from a 32 oz growler into a pint glass. i enjoyed this pretty soon after i got it.

A: honey color. 2 fingers of foamy white head. very clear. nice lacing

S: malty. tropical fruits. honey. a hint of piney resins.

T: the tropical fruits really stand out. mango, pineapple, grape. the hops don't really stand out to me. the piney resins stay after the finish. contributes to the funk. the alcohol is remarkably hidden. honey sweetness.

M: has body, but goes down really smooth. very well carbonated.

O: great summer DIPA. i really enjoyed alchemy hour and this is almost as good. this beer is a little funkier than alchemy hour (in a good way). well balanced, less hoppy, crisp and sweet.
