Solid beer.
L:Poured a ever-so-slightly hazy golden beer, slow rising head, great head with excellent retention. Soapy lace
S: Sudsy, soapy aroma. Little malt and grain in there as well.
T: Great flavors here all around. Great balance between sweet malt and dry malt flavors. Reminds me of a blonde ale. Serves as an excellent backdrop for the hops, which are slightly bitter, grapefruit pith, earthy.
F: Really smooth and easy drinking. a bit dry and astringent but very light body
O: Very enjoyable beer all around

Best by 6/04/18.Pours into a standard pint a slight hazed light golden with a nice tight half finger bones white head that sticks nicely to the glass as it settles into a soapy-like mass.Aromas are on the lighter side,I get some lemon oils and toasted wheat malts.Dry as a bone and crisp on the palate, get a tinge of lemon tartness in the finish, lighter bodied wich I expected.Very easy to drink with its dryness,a good spring ale.

Appearance- slightly hazy but straw like color with a largeish white fluffy head.

Aroma. - citrusy aroma mainly, malt/wheat seems hidden or at least overblown by the citrus smell.

Flavor - big burst of citrusy juiciness comes to the palate along with some slight wheat but then an assertive like finish (which is surprising since this is only 40ibu) but the hops really have an impact on this beer.

Mouthfeel - medium bodied with a good constant moderate carbonation throughout.

Overall - a nice change although not something I would rave about.

Pours clear, gold in color with 1/2 inch head. Taste is lemon, cracker, and grain. Bitter, medium bodied and carbonation. Makes for a middle of the road ale. Kind of a disappointment. OK, not great. Would pass in the future.

12 FL. OZ. bottle
Served in a weizen glass

This beer pours a pale yellow color with a slight haze. It is topped with two inches of white, fluffy head that leaves some decent lacing.

It has a light lemon aroma with a little bitter smell. There is a light malt smell as well. The citrus comes through more as it warms.

The taste is lemony at first then immediately has a bitter taste. There is some citrus as the bitterness fades. I may have started drinking it too cold. It is significantly better the second half of the glass.

Moderate mouthfeel

It grows on me as I drink it and turns out to be quite a pleasant beer.

12oz bottle, best before 06/01/18. 22161DE. Served in a tulip stout glass.

Appearance: Clear pale gold. Initial rocky white head died back to give a thin skin across the top and lots of fine lacing all over the glass.

Smell: Lots of citrus hops - most definitely citra in this. Orange, lemon, mango. Quite nice.

Taste: Quite hoppy and bitter for only 40 IBUs. Strong citrus, cracker/pilsner like malt, and a bitter finish that has some noble hop/lager notes to it. The aroma and smell don't quite line up.

Mouthfeel: Good carbonation, a bit chewy. The bitterness lingers on the teeth and palate for quite awhile.

Overall / Drinkability: A very hoppy beer with strong citrus flavor. The mouthfeel of a pale wheat ale is here, but none of the cloudiness. In fact, when I poured it I was quite surprised how clear it was since I was expecting the typical cloudiness of a wheat ale. Definitely on the very hoppy end of this style. One is enough per evening for me.

This beer is slightly hazy, and the initial, weak aroma disguises the intense flavor profile hidden beneath. It isn't bitter, but
I would describe it as, in my opinion, being more aligned to a German ale with American hops added. Meaning that this beer has a delicious hop profile which seems to mix a dash of noble with standard American varieties. I was personally blown away after taking a sip, as most light beers even from craft breweries are rather bland in flavor. This is, in my opinion, a perfect beer.
