Had on tap. Pours clear, dark gold in color with 1/2 inch head. Taste is lemon, biscuit, and deep grapefruity hops. Super hoppy and bitter. Not my favorite IPA, but worth a try.

Pour is a deep orange, Amber hue. Tight white bubbled head with nice lacing around the glass. Pine sap nose with a dominate sweet caramel malt profile in the back end. Taste follows the nose well. Pine foward with that sweet malt transforming into a big hop resin bomb in the finish. Mouthfeel is moderately carbonated. Very dry finish, with oily hop resin sticking around.

Look - deep orangish amber color with a decent white head with some lacing.

Smell - piney hops, citrus, sweet caramel malt.

Taste - hops are really present in the form of pine resin, but there is a solid malty backbone that levels it out nicely. It finishes with strong hop notes.

Feel - moderate carbonation and body; nothing really special.

Overall, this is a nice DIPA that balances hops with malty characteristics. I prefer a crisper flavor in a DIPA though.

This beer pours a clear amber-orange with a medium sized head. The aroma offers of the classic mosaic cocktail fo guava, pineapple, passion fruit, and grapefruit peel. with a touch of caramel and candy smell, like orange sherbet. The flavor leads with pineapple and guava, then comes the hint of grapefruit, and the creamy cnady orange flavor and caramel come through at the finish. The mouthfeel is fairly full and sticky. Overall this si a nice double IPA, but a touch to sweet for my taste. Mosaic is still my favorite hop, but with any tropical hop too much sweetness can make things a bit cloying. I still enjoyed this one, but with that small reservation.
