Look: pours a dark, clear orange, with a finger or so of slight off white head. There's carbonation bubbles coming up from the bottom.

Smell: the first thing I picked up was some maltiness, and citrus. After a few swirls I picked up a scent I thought only legend said mosaic bore: berries.

Taste: similar to the nose: malts start it out for me, and then the citrus and berry note hit. I really didn't enjoy this initially, but as it warms, the blueberry is popping. I get some tangerine as well.

Feel: slight alcohol burn, so it is noticeable (slightly) and a medium to medium full body. There's some bitterness, as well as a dry finish.

Overall: my first impressions left this beer pretty low; however, after the first few sips, warming, and picking up other notes, I'm pretty pleased with this beer.

Pours a dark copper. Smells of some fruitiness (orange mostly), but a heavy honey sweetness. The beer is thick, but not chewy. The taste starts with some mild orange peel, but is quickly washed away in sweetness (honey sweet rather than sugar sweet) with an underlying bitterness. Finish is alcohol heavy and unpleasant.

On fraught. A hop-heavy DIPA that crackles on the tongue like a live wire. Honey colored body with a generous bunch of foam with good retention. Smells like a citrus stand in the middle of a pine forest. Fresh leafiness and orange peel on the front palate before a super spicy tongue prickling the middle like a young pineapple. Grapefruity finish lingers long. Excellent DIPA.

Frothy beige head on top a clear, orange-ish beer. Lacing is a decent fizzy drape after the head receded to a fizzy top layer.

Nose is immediately musky with a bit of grapefruit in amongst the big bitter bill.

Taste begins big bitter but gives way to mango and a candy like sweetness. Finishes a tad hot but not monstrously so.

Very good beer, glad I grabbed two four packs!

Picked up two in a custom 6 pack at Casa Di vino in Wheeling, WV. Pours an orange copper color into a tulip glass. No head until the pour is complete, then gently foams to a one finger cap that diminishes quickly. Nose with lots of tropical aromas that are very distinct. Mango, pineapple, papaya, with grapefruit and lemongrass. The smells go directly to the same tropical island flavors that transitions to a slightly sweet carmel malt then to just the right amount of bitterness. Unbelievably well balanced and the 9 plus ABV is well hidden, but this is still a sipping beer. Quickly became one of my top 3 2X IPA'S.
