I tried this chilled from the bottle in a tumbler.

The color is a very lightly hazed golden with thick smooth white head with fine bead. The smell is lightly yeasty with slight toasted wheat aroma with a mild floral accent and gentle peppery scent. The feel is medium carbonation with slight creaminess from the yeast with wheat sweetness and spice in the middle with a light body and mostly dry finish with lingering pepper in the back.

The taste is very good with wheat dominant and sweet cereal quality with light toasted grain and mild floral element with a peppery spice mid palate with slight blend of orange and coriander iwth some mild alcohol in the end. The spice taste increases as it warms with slight citrus tanginess and gentle toasted taste to balance with spice lingering after the swallow. The overall effect has mild yeast character with enough to tell it is a wit with good drinkability and refreshment of a wheat beer.

A - Golden brew, some haziness, a moderate white head, and a mild lacing.

S - Barnyard, and more than a few vegetable notes, a hint of cabbage, as well as sour fermented grains. But the nose is also apple and pear fruit notes.

T - Fortunately, the only element of the nose to follow through in the taste is the apple and pear notes, which couple with strong spicing elements that evoke white pepper, cardamom and allspice. The close leaves a subtle sweetness on the tongue.

M - A bit of brisk carbonation. Light and easy, but with a slight coating that lingers.

O - The nose is a bit worrying, but the taste is decent and the feel generally works. Pleasant taste and feel, but not compelling. Not a beer I'd seek again, but one I'd drink if it were available.

12oz, Enjoy by 07/31/15
A - clouded golden body with yeast particulate suspended throughout; very thin white head
S - nose is spicy and floral with lemon, grass, and yeast
T - very floral, spicy, peppery, lemon juice and zest, yeast
M - smooth, medium body with a peppery finish
O - not a favorite of mine. I had this years ago and was intrigued when it came back in the spring mixed 12pack this year, but I won't buy it again. I find the chamomile to be rather off-putting making it too floral and perfumey in my opinion.
