Served from the bottle into a pilsner glass
A- Poured a mostly clear orange color with white frothy head that left splashy lace.
S- Big floral, pungent grapefruit, citrusy notes, breadiness, and pilsner malt notes.
T- Big floral notes and citrusy hop notes, big breadiness and pilsner malt backbone. Quite a bit of malt and fruity sweetness. Lots of fruity lager esters and the sweetness takes over quite a bit more as it warms up.
M- Very dry, refreshing, prickly carbonation, clean, and crisp.
O- My first IPL, which seems to be an emerging style. I really liked the hop character on this beer and it was really refreshing. The lagering of this beer seemed to give it a lot more sweetness and crispness than other IPAs. Really glad I got to try this one.

"Everyone wishes for silver and gold, but how do you measure its worth? Just by the pleasure it gives here on earth!" And this was a pleasure, starting right with the golden pour with lots of white lacing and a collar. Smell has decent hops, grapefruit and lemon zest stand out with slight grass, with plenty of cracker and bready malt. Taste is a little more muddled, grassy and floral by the finish, but before then a mixture of bread and zesty citrus hops. Feel is decently crisp, full, and springy. Miss the IPL craze, this reminds me why I liked it so

I've only had a few IPL offerings and this one is really more of an IPA. No lager finish and way heavy on the alcohol IMO.
