I've been here a handful of times now and it's really a decent place. If you're getting a pizza they're usually pretty good, I haven't had anything else but for a drunken pizza it's awesome. For what they are, they've got quite an awesome beer selection. A variety of your standard macros (pbr, bud light, etc) but they also usually have some good craft brews (rock art, rogue, trout river, long trail, etc) mainly VT beers which is nice but the occasional larger out of state micro.

They play their music kinda loud for me, but they've got pool a couple arcade games, big screen TVs with ESPN (It's real fun when there's a Sox or Pats game on). I think it's a pretty decent bar to go with a couple buddies, have a beer and a slice or two.

Now if you're in the area, and you're a BA... skip it, go two blocks away to American flatbread, you'll get better 'za and much better brews.

Been here three times and every time, I have never seen Hill Farmstead. Pizza is just okay, nothing to really go bonkers about. Service is actually the best thing about this place. It is a pretty clean place, I will say that. But I have to admit, I wasn't necessarily thrilled to see more Ballast Point here than any other place. I'd like to see more Vermont breweries in here, to be honest.

This is the kind of place I envy so much about America. Just basically a pizza joint/bar with a selection of beers that just boggles my tiny Swedsh mind. I mean, drinking Focal Banger from a can while listenig to local musicians on Oen Mic night. And then having another Focal. And another. Damn.

This is as much a bar as a pizza place, so the place got loud and crowded, but still with a very friendly and including vibe.

The taplist wasn't huge, but a couple of Hill Farmstead were on there, along with a lot of other local brews. Oh, and Heady and Focal. Don't forget those.

Service was good, quick and friendly. Only has a little bit of pizza, but it was really good.

I liked this place a lot. Good pizza, great beer, and a lot of great people.

nice laid back pizza place where you can find some of the best beer in NE. no joke the selection here is dopeeee... always a good selection of hill farmstead, usually an IPA or two and something else. excellent selection of VT brews, heady and focal of course, cheap fiddlehead pints. pretty decent selection of non NE brews here as well, first time trying founders KBS and BCBS was at hattys. only complaint would be they dont seem to get Lawson's on tap as much as other places... which is not really a legitimate complaint when there are always many other top beers to choose from.

This place is tricky. One minute it can be a great daytime bar with above average draft selections (Hill, Maine Beer, Zero Gravity, Fiddlehead, Founders, Allagash), and the next minute it can be a loud karaoke bar filled with extremely young and noisy college kids. My general rule of thumb here is "Get out before dark" and it has always served me well! But seriously, it's a great spot to just chill and have a good pint or three.

Cheap pizza and Hill Farmstead on tap. The best place in town to catch a game.

It’s a general rule of thumb that anyplace outside of NYC that uses the words “New York” (or boroughs of) in its name is generally most completely devoid of any semblance of such. I’ve passed and passed over this place without even a thought during my many years having come here. I mean, Flatbread’s around the corner, and all. But last night, after dinner at Farmhouse and after after that ‘why do we go there’ schlocky Irish joint ‘til closing, we found ourselves here. Oh, work conference, Burlington...

Main drag corner joint open late night; enter past the small stage off the center vestibule entrance. Light colored ‘L’ wood bar with a lip & matching panel base on the inside wall. Dark wood hightop chair seating for a dozen on the straight and service on the angled corner alongside pies for the slice at. Light wood barback unit holds shelved booze & assorted glassware glowlit; pitchers, pints, & tulips. 3 square boards above list top shelf spirits, and then a single flatscreen to the left, and hook & eye slat boards to the right listing tap selections; brewery, beer, ABV, origin, and price, in alt colored chalk. Specials and a kitchen peekaboo below.

Pebble colored floorings, grayish ceiling with spinny fans, black sound reduction boards, and drop ball lamp singles in rows over the seating throughout. Wood slat wall in the far room, everything otherwise is done in red or New York mural (grumble grumble). Tall narrow vertical windows to both sides and paneled horizontals up front with neons above. Brewery tins adorn and tap handles line along the ceiling trim 3 sides around and the vestibule. Hanging horizontal board lists some music specials (karaoke, open mic, band play, etc.) and food & drink specials (all you can eat pizza & wings for $12 Sunday football, $3 Switchback Tuesdays, etc.) Another flat screen up front. PBR light hanging over the pool table to the rear getting a lot of play. There’s a sign there that reads “drop stick/cue ball off table = 10 push ups”. That may be Vermont law being enforced there, not sure, can’t say. And a videogame in the back corner, it appears to be baseball of some sort.

4 square hightops along the wall and 3 raised roundies between them and the bar. On the other side (we are on a corner) it’s pretty much the same, seatingwise, except they’ve got views of the blackboarded bottle & can list.

20 taps on a row tower on the bar; roughly 3/4 of them are Vermont offerings (Fiddlehead IPA, Zero Gravity Smokey the Beer, Switchback Ale, Long Trail Flyin’ Ryan IPA, Magic Hat Dream Machine & Hop Drop, Queen City Oktoberfest, Citizen Cider Cran-bro), or New England regionals (Allagash White, Maine Mo, Cambridge Great Pumpkin Ale, Sam Adams Octoberfest, Berkshire Brewing Shabadoo Sour Rum, Foolproof La Ferme Urbaine Farmhouse Ale, Stillwater As Follows), and the remainder a mix of craft afar (Founders Breakfast Stout, Lagunitas ScareCity #1, Spoetzl Shiner Bock), import (Le Trou Du Diable Schieve Tabarnak), and retro (PBR). And just shy of 3 dozen bottle & can offerings including a $7 Heady Topper and Grassroots Convival Suarez, and fuck, what is the De La Senne Kuro Oni Black IPA doing here? Seeeeeeriously. I drank the Fiddlehead IPA and repeated the effort.

All I know is, our group did some banter over who wanted what and Justin just said “Give me all your pizza”. It was near closing time, so we were dealt onesies and twosies of whatever everything they had left. As such, we didn’t have to know the shame of ordering pizzas named for NYC’isms (Central Park, Upper Eastside, New Yorker), because we would have refused to do so. I know I grabbed a plain slice and I seem to recall pepperoni happening. We woofed and got out.

Turns out, that event last night here was actually this morning just shy of 2 AM. Eeeeesh. Pizza was dough with sauce, cheese, and toppings where applicable. Surprisingly good beer thing but then, I suppose I shouldn’t be so surprised. Good tunes, including a very timely (The Band) “The Shape I’m In”.
