On tap at 21st Amendment Brewery in San Francisco, CA.

Pours a hazy copper with a foamy khaki head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. A foamy curtain of lace coats the glass on the drink down. Smell is of toasted malt, candied citrus zest, grapefruit juice, and slight wood aromas. Taste is much the same with candied citrus zest, grapefruit juice, caramel, toffee, and slight wood flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp and sticky mouthfeel. Overall, this is a very good beer with awesome candied citrus qualities, but the wood used in this one is fairly subtle.

Serving type: on tap.
