Toaster Pastry brewed by 21st Amendment Brewery, with an ABV of 7.60% This brew pours out nice light brown color with a nice off white head. The head to this brew sticks around. Really liking the look of this red ale. The smell of Toaster Pastry is rich with hops and roasted sweetness. There are some nice roasted grians and malts in the smell of this brew. The look and smell of this Red Ale are very inviting. Nothing bad so far, now on to the taste. The taste of Toaster Pastry is Bold but , rich with flavors. You first pick up on hops, then the roasted grians and malts. There is also a mild sweetness to the taste of this brew. You also get a nice amount of lacing in the glass. Toaster Pastry has a lot going on in it. I really like how smooth goes down, there is nothing overpowering about this brew at all. This is one red ale has a real nice balance to it. It is also hard to pick up on the 7.60%ABV in this brew, it is just that smooth. The mouth feel of Toaster Pastry, is Bold , Rich Hoppy , smooth and refreshing. Overall I'm giving Toaster Pastry a 4.50 out of 5. I would buy this brew again. If you are looking for a hoppy Red Ale look this one up . 21st Amendment Brewery, did a super nice job with this one.

Stovepipe can, with Best before dating marked on the bottom

Dark ruddy/reddish amber, lasting and heavy lace leaving medium khaki froth.

Malted up nose, with whole wheat malts and bright sweet fruit notes.

Sweet malts, caramel, more bright fruit notes. Pleasantly sweet, with a nice hoppy tang on the back side.

Flavorful,sweet/hopped up, heady and quite pleasant stuff...all in an oversized can...God Bless America...and all the other countries in the world..

A: Pours a rich amber color with a foamy, white head.
S: Toasty bread and sweet fruit, a lot like the eponymous toaster pastry, maybe a mixed berry variety.
T: Follows the nose. Warm, toasty bread and sweet fruit, followed by a crisp hop finish that's not too overpowering.
M: Hearty but smooth. A little thick, sort of like jam. Not overcarbonated- goes down easy.
O: Excellent. A truly beautiful beer. I love it. It was everything I'd hoped it would be.

Enjoy by 12/18/15.

Pours a murky dark orange-brown with a foamy khaki head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Foamy rings of lace line the glass on the drink down. Smell is of toasted malt, earth, and fruit aromas. Taste is much the same with toast, citrus zest, grapefruit juice, and earthy hop flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of hop and earth bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp and medium bodied mouthfeel. Overall, this is a good beer with a nice balance between the malt and hops all around.

Serving type: can.

Pours a hazy, brownish-red, with an orange hue around the edge of glass. Has a thin! White head. A hoppy, funk smell with a quite sweet malt. Tastes of juicy hop with a nice malty balance. Slowly the malt works it's way in where I get the subtle graham cracker, then strawberry finish. A definite smooth, balance mouthfeel. A nice balance of hop funk and darker malts. I really like.

Pours a reddish copper, as advertised. Not much in the way of a head, but what is there laces nicely. Smell is hop forward pine but with a notable strawberry jam undercurrent. Taste is not nearly as fruity as I expected, although it's plenty sweet and malty. The back end is super bitter and swampy, which is a surprising turn of events considering the light breezy aroma. It's a nice contrast that makes for a complex, tasty sip. Mouthfeel starts like a red ale and then drifts into something heavier, but again, I find it a nice and complex experience.

A cool concept and a damn cool beer.Poured into an impy pint glass a hazed lighter amber shade with a large fluffy off white head atop.A great mix of floral and citric hops to go along with buttery toast and sweet fruit.Sweet jammy fruit and deep biscuit malt upfront on the palate than a melding of sharp citric and leafy hops finish a very appetizing palate.A mix of everything that just comes together really well for me,really nice stuff.

Love this beer!

L - Pours a cloudy amber with a very light tan head that dissipates relatively quickly
S - Piney, spicy, biscuity, toasted malt, pear, dough, tropical fruit
T - Roasty, sweet, biscuity, rye, woody, bready, tropical fruit, well balanced with hop additions
F - Medium body, slight sticky on the mouth, well carbonated, sweet start with a nice bittering finish
O - I love the aroma of this beer and it tastes nearly exactly how it smells! One of the best red ales I've had

This beer poured a clear cherry amber color. There was a minimal head to it.
Aroma of toast, sweet malt, and some floral hops.
Taste of toast, caramel, and a little pine.
Medium-bodied. Not as hoppy as I thought it would be.

Pours clear, amber, with 1 inch head. Taste is herbal hops, light pine, and light pale malt. Taste of strawberry lingers at the end. Interesting beer that gets better as it warms. I will most likely get this one again.

Amber colored with an inch of creamy tan on top. This beer has little opacity partially due to the darker color and partially due to a bit of cloudiness. Light lacing. I smell amber malt with hints of caramel. I'm tasting some amber malt, caramel, a subtle nutty note, and some piney hops. The mouth lightly oily and dry.

The nose starts with big resiny hops and some pine and wood aromas but a definite nutty, slightly sweet pastry crust aroma floats around behind the hops. The hop aromas are medium to medium high while the toasty malt aromas are medium low. It pours brilliant copper amber under a 2.5" cream colored foam cap with a slight copper tint. The cap is lacy and persistent. The palate starts with sweet toaster pastry crust with biscuit, hints of caramel, traces of stone fruit and nuts but quickly gives way to a an assertive bitterness that rides right through the finish. The flavors are complex and layered but nicely balanced. The malt is medium to medium high but the bitterness is medium high to high. Toaster Pastry leaves a long bitter finish that lasts and lasts. High praise to the brewer for concocting a beer that evokes toaster pastry with big hops and having it work so well.

P: Red amber with a huge bubble head. Fair lacing.
A: Floral hops, strawberry, malt.
T: Fruit, hops, strawberry jam, fresh basket biscuit, malt.
M: Light to medium body, very nicely balanced, mild effervescence, clean finish.
O: Well made IPA. Not an over powering IPA. Well constructed. I like this one.
