From the can marked Enjoy by 09/09/15. Sampled on July 4, 2015.
Living in New Hampshire I am surprised that I have not had this one before given its title and the NH State logo (Live Free or Die). But it did not arrive in New Hampshire until Spring 2015.
Orange-yellow, foamy heady pour. Good clarity.
Nice floral, citrus, and grass notes in the aroma.
The taste has a quick toasted malt character but then the floral and pine hop bitterness roars in and brings this to a dry finale. It is a nice IPA.

Agressive pour into my trusty ol Samual Smith IPA glass.Pours a big frothy head.Did not have to wait too long to wait for said head to go away.Smells like a typical west coast IPA.First sip I thought this was a Sculpin it is that close.Bitter to the core.Maybe a little too bitter. All in all a decent IPA and I would most likely buy again but I like to try new things and it would not be my first choice.Still a well done IPA.

Can into glass.
Beautiful golden amber color with great head retention. Lacing never went away.
Smells like a brown or a dark pale. Can tell this is going to be a malt bomb.
Just about. I taste bread and caramel followed by bitterness with little flavor from the hops.
Feels perfectly carbonated with a slight creaminess.
Overall, a decent beer. Not much hop flavor. I would classify this as a malty IPA. Not my style, but nonetheless a respectable brew. Probably could've been fresher and maybe that's the reason I didn't get much of a hop profile. Amazing cover artwork. Try this unique IPA and pair it with a hearty meal.

One of the more subtle and balanced IPA's out West. Subtle, sweet malty entry. Malts are clean and cracker-like with a hint of honey detected. Sweet malt backbone transitions to a relatively hoppy bitter finish. The hops, too, are subtle. Hops are floral, moderately spicy, herbal, with a touch of grapefruit. A big flash of clean bitterness in the finish. That bitterness makes its presence known then dissipates, leaving you ready for the next sip. The sweetness of the malt seems to wash away the finishing bitter in this brew. I love that about this beer. Trace bitterness lingers on the palate. Cereal grains in the finish. Body is thin. Carbonation is low, which I enjoy as well.
This beer is by no means an earth shattering, mind blowing beer that will alter your life after having. But what it is is one of the most sessionable 7%, 70IBU beers that you can have of ANY style. The hallmark of this beer (and really any great beer) is the drinkability. I buy a sixer of this beer a couple times a year to be reminded of the above. One of my favorite year around IPA's. This beer really shines when your engaged in outdoor activities. It's also a beer that I like to introduce to people who think they don't like IPA's.

My first 21st Amendment offering to try.Poured into a standard pint glass a slight chill hazed medium golden with thinner soapy-like white head atop,a few globs of lace were left behind as it settled into a patchy froth mass atop.Citrusy hops mixed with a hefty caramel malt base, the hops are big but malt base seems to drown out the hops a little not only aroma wise but also on the palate.Nutty and sweetish biscuit malt is big and the citric hop profile has a hard time over taking the malt base, the hops do come thru but the malt base seems to be a little much for a standard ipa.Its good and has a nice shot of left coast hops but it's a bit on the malty side for the style for my taste.

Absolutely Killer IPA. Light and fruity taste, mainly grapefruit but other citrus as well, with plenty of pine and juniper in the nose. Great appearance. Huge frothy khaki head on top of a bright copper/yellow-orange body. Minimal visual carbonation but decent bite. Extremely drinkable. Sessionable? Hell yes. Bare bones malt presence but not unbalanced.
Board said 7.2% ABV, 78 IBUs.

Soft, round flavor for a west coast ipa, note on front is subdued and finish does not linger as expected.

Radiant amber color with a two-inch white crown.
Oily pine-sap hop resins are rich in the nose. On the other hand, it makes me think of a dirty diaper a little. (I don't have kids.)
The taste really flips over to the malty side after the nose is pretty hop-forward. There is some pine and tangerine in there.
Not new or revolutionary. Just a really drinkable everyday IPA.

Review from BeerAdvocate magazine Vol. II Issue VIII:
Craft beer in a can. Can we get a "Hell Yeah!"?
Appearances aren't everything, but between the bright golden color and the web-like lacing, this beer proves appearances can at least make something much more enjoyable. Love that West Coast hop aroma of citrus rind, spearmint and wildflowers. Big on smoothness with a juicy medium body. Solid sharp hop bite that rolls off from the carbonation in the beginning of each sip and slowly unfolds into a range of flavors, from citric to soft pine to mild tobacco. Needless to say, there is a complex hop character here. Some maltiness makes its way through the hops with light biscuity and dry bread flavors. The alcohol comes out to play for a little bit with some fruity esters and warmth on the back of the palate.
A solid IPA, big and bold and very drinkable. An easy pick for the hophead within.

Purchased from 3 Corners Liquor in Medford, MN. Pours a dark golden straw body with a thick, pillowy white head of foam. Big citrus hop aroma with some fruity yeast esters. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium-high carbonation. Initial flavors are sweet and grainy with a low-medium bitterness at mid tongue and an overall sweet finish. 70 IBUs as the can proclaims are nowhere to be found. Okay drinkability, but a big disappointment for an IPA.

Love the cans! Pours into my glass a light, bright golden orange with 2 fingers of creamy head on top that leaves spotty lacing along the glass. Great clarity. Aroma kicks off with pine and resinous hop notes. Slightly floral with a twist of citrus. Somewhat bready malts with a touch of caramel and spice.
First sip brings a good balance between malt and hops. Bready caramel intertwines with resinous, pine laced hops. Citrus and spice mix in as it flows down with a nice kick of bitterness. Finishes dry and crisp.
Mouthfeel is smooth and easy drinking with good carbonation. Overall, a tasty IPA but nothing really stands out to bring it into the limelight. Glad I got to try it!

Brew Free or Die poured into a 21st Amendment chalice.
Nice golden clear appearance, somewhat effervescent. One inch head nice retention.
Smell mild fruity slight citrus. Taste a little bolder but not much. Balanced with fruit and hop flavors leave a very pleasant mouth feel. Nice easy drinker but not up there with the best. A second tier IPA.

yellowish gold color with an off-white head that settled to a skim. Some chill haze...Coit Liquor's coolers are definitely colder than mine. I bet the next one poured will be clear.
Smells like sticking your nose in a cup of fresh hops. I guess there is a little malt in there. not much though.
Nice. Malt is much more present in my mouth than my nose. nicely balances out the hops. Some lingering orange/citrus notes.
support.
