Took a few before I finally got the hang of this IPA. A slightly fruity finish for an IPA but not bad. Would drink again

I was surprised by the grapefruit hop notes were so present in this beer. It had been a few years since I had one and I am happy to say it will not be so long before the next!

12 oz. can poured into a Spiegelau IPA glass.

A- Golden orange. with a faint haze. Head is just off white. With some great sticky lacing. Head holds at half an inch.

S- Fairly mild nose. Toasted malt background, with an earthy, floral and faint citrus hop character.

T- Well balanced toast and some sweeter citrus. Just a faint bitterness. Pretty sweet.

M- Very smooth and wet finish. Body is medium light. Just faintly bitter. Goes down so easy.

O- Solid. Doesn't stand out too much in the IPA crowd, but it doesn't slouch. Drinkable and a decent flavor.

12 oz can enjoy by 3/15/15 poured into a tulip glass.

A - Hazy amber orange with a one finger head that moves to a thick lace that retains well.

S - Mango, pineapple, tomato soup?

T - More muted than the aroma. Some tropical fruit, toasted grains, bread. Bitter finish.

M - Average carbonation. Mouthfeel is a touch sticky.

O - Tomato soup aroma, definitely a first. Maybe the taste buds were jacked, but regardless, a well put together beer that has considerable depth and some nice tropical notes.

Good banana and pine aroma followed by a piney hops bitterness all the way through. Not a lot of alcohol for the 7.0% abv. All together a pretty good beer.

Nice golden color in a pilsner glass with a hoppy/citrus aroma. A clean refreshing taste.

Overall a very good IPA. I differently recommend this beer!
