Color: Dirty straw, huge billowy white head. Really fluffs up out of the beer.

Nose: Like an overripe fruit (apple, maybe?), that sort of sickly sweet but accompanied by a vague waft of funk or gasoline.

Taste: Sweet caramel and pears, maybe some apple cider tart. Grass and funk at the mid/end. Finishes crisply.

Mouthfeel: Incredibly effervescent, it stays light on its feet without being dry as the Sahara. I could've taken this down by myself, but would've had a painful first day of grad school.

A- Murky orangish brown color. Fizzy fluffy head that sticks around with great lacing

S- Earthy must maybe a woodyness, sweet malt, some weird fruit I can't quite put my finger on. Really weird but kind of intoxicating.

T- Light caramel malt presence, citrus rind, the fruit from the smell maybe some sort of berries? Apples, some vegetal grassyness im assuming from the dandilions. Musty woods,A weird combo of pepper and malt sweetness then transitions to a really nice tart finish. a lot going on.

M- medium mouthfeel, some malt presence almost like a very well attenuated ode bruin, crisp and highly drinkable.

O- This may be the best fantome I've had to date. Weird hybrid of a ode bruin and saison. A whole lot going on flavor wise. Reminds me of Tired hands Woodlahands( a mushroom ode bruin) very woodsy with weird fruit and tons of umami. Wouldn't be surprised if Dany was friends with Guy Fieri because this bottle took me to flavor town.

On draft at 2015 Hill Farmstead Festival of Farmhouse Ales. I found this to have a super grassy aroma and flavor. Nothing spectacular. I much prefer Vera Mae.

Murky muddy brownish orange. Fat tan head with excellent retention. Nose is funk with some sweet malt, I am getting a touch of floral scent but not a ton of fruits. There is some earthy citrus rind. Caramel but light . A woody bit of herbal that is so vague I wish it was more prominent. Taste is muddled. The malts are sweet but are not crisp or well defined. The beer is sticky and overly sweet to the drink at first but seems to lighten up a bit as ti warms. There is something exciting going on so faintly in the background though. Spice starts to come forward and a touch of warmth from alcohol. A bit of pepper and now this is better. The hop herbal is muddy and cloudy to the palate. The funky yeast is a kind of intruder to the drink in a way at first but you start to appreciate it after a while. It seems to be a jumble instead of something clearly envisioned. Finishes with a malty sweetness, something a touch sour and a mild but lingering bitter.
