750ml bottle corked and capped poured into a matching Fantome glass. The brew appears a hazy yellow color with a firm white cap.
Nose opens with lemony coriander, somewhat grassy with suggestions of cereal grain - wheat and some earthiness.
The taste is tart like lemony lacto, straw grain to wheat with a bright freshness about it that is really lacking in the prior versions. By Fantome standards, this has a strange cleanliness about it coupled with the freshness of grain and lasting crisp tartness.
This is light bodied and modestly carbonated. An absolute joy to drink this and damnit if it wasnt the shocker/suprise underdog in the entire lineup. What a clean and enjoyable brew, no wonder it was chosen to be the base for the super limited rose version.

Santé 1-19 vertical. Thanks Brad!
Transparent light golden body with a thin cap. Aromas of grass, floral and herbal notes. Much less vegetal and funky smelling than the previous Santé brews. Lovely flavor. Bright on the palate with orange, melon, grapefruit zest. Fruity, tangy, delicious.

Bottle at Fantome-a-thon 2012
A pale golden color with a solid white head. Sweet malt notes up front followed by lemon peel and a moderate lactic tartness. Very nice white grape and grass aromas, too. Surprisingly tropical with a bit of yeast. The flavor is great as well. Nice intense fruit (pineapple, lemon, grape, and orange) with hints of black pepper, spice, and sweet malt.

The beer pours a golden yellow color with a small white head. The aroma has a lot of wheat and Belgian yeast notes, as well as some light funk and something that resembles pickles. The flavor is similar. There is a hint of vinegar that that once again reminds me of pickles, as well as some light funk and some wheat and tartness. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.
