The first thing I do when I visit a new city is find an Irish pub. I had been to the Ceili's in Calgary so I was excited when I found one in Edmonton.
In my opinion, the one in Calgary is a little better. This one lacked the 'Irish' atmosphere. The selection of beers was average to good. I have also heard that the Southside Ceili's is a little better. There was a band setting up for the weekend that looked rather good. I would definetally stop in again whenever I am in Edmonton.
