12 oz bottle. Pours pale straw with tall, long lasting, fluffy, white head and lively carbonation. Aroma is of sour dough and not much more. Body is medium and crisp. Taste is of sour apples and a hint of hops. Finish is long and dry. Taste is like a good cider.

L: brilliant straw with rapidly rising bubbles blanketed by a 1" frothy foam collar with reasonable retention

S: mild, sweet aroma of slightly sweet earthy sorghum, noble hops and spice

T: mildly sweet with a hint of apple, some sorghum and noble hops. It has a drying bitter finish with the sorghum a little sharp and the hops are a little harsh

F: The beer is light and the carbonation is high with a bit of prickle

O: This is an OK beer and a decent stand in for an American Standard Lager.

pours a clear light yellow color with a thin bright white head the dissipates fairly quick. Smell is slightly hoppy, not much else. Initial taste is crisp and fruity with a clean finish, perfect for a hot day. I don't care what all the others say about it, I could see myself drinking this all day long on a hot summer day.

From a 355ml bottle served at 10 degrees Celcius into a pilsner glass.

Appearance: Pours a brilliant straw with 1.5cm of foamy, white head that disappears in less than two minutes. Great lacing.

Aroma: Light intensity. Sweet and fruity with strong notes of apples. The smell makes me think of a cider. Some floral hop-character.

Taste: Follows suit with the nose. Light to medium intensity. Cider-like, fruity (apples), and sweet.

Mouthfeel: Light to medium body with lively carbonation. Prickly and refreshing.

Overall: This beverage is not as bad as I expected it to be. I picked up the bottle from the singles basket at the local liquor store because I had never seen the label before. First gluten-free beer that I've tried. I had to look up what sorghum was – ha!. The drink is refreshing, fruity, and sessionable. It surprised me and I do recommend it as a gluten-free option, however I wouldn't have it again. Purely from a stylistic perspective I think it deserves a higher rating, however my numbers reflect what I think of it as an overall beverage.

Poured into a beer mud.
Pours a nice crisp clean yellow, not much of a foam head.

Smells fruity, almost citrus.

Same with the taste, it's tart and crisp.

Drinks okay, smooth with decent carbonation, kinda smooth like atery but not with the watery flavor.

Overall, interesting and not bad.

12 ounce bottle into lager glass, best before 8/15/2016. Pours fairly crystal clear pale straw color with a 1 finger dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of lemon, cracker, honey, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Solid aromas with balanced sorghum and earthy hop notes; with poor strength. Taste of lemon cracker, honey, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate herbal/spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, cracker, honey, light pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness on the finish for a short bit. Nice robustness and balance of sorghum and earthy hop flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance and minimal astringent hop flavors after the finish. Moderate dryness from bitterness, that increases through the glass. Very clean on lager flavors with minimal yeast notes present. Medium carbonation and light body; with a very smooth, crisp, moderately sticky, and slightly grainy/creamy mouthfeel that is good. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.1%. Overall this is a solid gluten free pilsener style. Good robustness and balance of sorghum and earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, and easy to drink. A fairly enjoyable offering.
