A traditional bock beer, using 100% Munich malt and balanced with German Hallertau hops. Maltiness dominates the flavor, but with a very complex background of hop bitterness, floral yeast character, and a very intriguing nutty quality.

Pours out a deep reddish brown - more red than typical bronze coloration. There is a minimal tan head and no discrenible lace effect. The nose is somewhat sweet and toasted. The taste is a sweetish sour flavor that is disconcerting at first but becomes quite nice on the palate as the glass is emptied. The mouthfeel is full and a bit creamy. Good drinkability overall.

Poured into a pilsener glass, the appearance was a semi-dark amber color with a finger's worth of quickly dieing foamy white head. Sliding stringy lace.
The aroma had some strong sweet bready malts, light nuts, earthy to grassy hops and a mild earthy/semi-spicy hoppiness.
The flavor was moderately sweet with the malts take the foreground while the spiciness sat a bit further back. Delicate malty dry sweet aftertaste.
The mouthfeel was between light and medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt good. Semi-smooth sort of bready malty sort of finish.
Overall, pretty nice bock that I would have again if I could get it.

L: Pours brilliant amber with red highlights under a ½” white foam collar that provides light lace.
S: Primarily fresh whole grain bread aromas with some spicy hops.
T: Starts bready sweet with traces of caramel and malt spice leading to a moderate bitter finish and a slight tangyness.
F: Medium body and medium carbonation.
O: An easy to drink bock.

12 oz bottle. Pours hazy amber with a short-lived off-white head and crazy carbonation. Aroma is of fermented apple juice and hint of peppery hops. Body is medium and tangy. Taste is caramel malt and peppery hops. Finish is long and spicy. There is something wrong with this bottle.
