Pours golden copper. Thick, medium, off-white head that lasts a while with good lacing.

Smells Pine, malt, Herbal, dank.

Tastes bready and doughy malt, Pine, hints of citrus and floral. Finishes dry and A light bitter linger. Medium body and creamy lower medium carbonation. Surprisingly not bitter for the amount of hops flavor.

Another super close to home beer. This one is weird; on tap always good a good hoppy, citrus classic ipa taste. In the bottle it always seems to be more dank and does not have the crisp hoppy kick. Another thing with this and certain other ipas; sometimes i get a cat piss aroma from it (not overpowering just real subtle). Not sure if i am nuts or what. Strictly on tap this would be rated higher, strictly bottle lower. For purposes on the review/rating cut it in half.

poured from bottle into pint glass..

L: a nice, golden, amber color
S: aromas of citrus (lemon, grapefruit), very nice
T: the hops and citrus flavors blend well...nicely balanced
F: a smooth drink, nice level of carbonations

Overall: a very nice, pleasing drink...one of my new favorites...unfortunately, I don't think this one is widely available on east coast

This is the most frequent craft beer I drink so I will try to be as objective as possible.

L: vibrant orange, amber colors, I love how the lacing patterns the glass

S: explosion of hops blending with citrus gives a stunningly pleasant aroma

T: piney upfront as it curls into a grapefruit-forward citrus. Finish has lemon, a touch of malt, and definite bitterness

F: med-high carbonation dances on the tongue

O: a top beer for me (I admittedly live 7 blocks from the brewery) but as an IPA guy I truly believe it stands up to the IPA heavyweights!

How did I miss this? I'm with A Bros on this title IPA. Excellent, Try 24.
Although down the center of A IPA, this stands out for fresh and memorable high notes and quaff-ability.

look: 3.5 | smell: 4 | taste: 4 | feel: 4 | overall: 4

A ) begins with a hazy old copper-golden body that carries a finger of persistent head that coats with lace and surmounts the body with a lasting island.

S) Pungent aromas of orange zest, juicy citrus flesh, with cut grass, light alcohol, esters, and caramel.

T) Citrus, juicy, orange zest, pineapple and mangos see-saw with the white-cracker malt flavor. Finishes with lingering bright bitterness.

F) Creamy and malty, finishes crisp and dry into a bitter and warming finish.

O) Better and more complex as it warms. Try 24.
