L- Gorgeous beer. About a finger of off-white head that lingers. Clear amber color borders on a dark orange depending on the light.
S- Alright. Not very aromatic. Mostly malt and bread notes. Some hops? Maybe...
T- Bitter malt. There is so much variation in what qualifies as a Red Ale that I am judging this by what it says on the bottle "American Red IPA" As such I was left wanting some more of the hops to come trough. Instead I get malt and caramel on the forefront and a standard bitterness on the back end. Solid but underwhelmed. Not as complex as I was expecting from the other reviews and its style. Maybe mine was old?
F- Medium body, smooth. Just the right amount of carbonation.
O- Solid but underwhelmed. Might buy it again but there are other reds I love much more.

12 oz bottle. Clear amber with an inch of off-white head. Aroma of caramel and bread crusts, pine, oranges and pepper. Smooth, medium-bodied. Toffee sweet with pine-tinged bitterness bursting through towards the finish.

A decent addition to the rubric we call "American reds."
Looks interesting, particularly when held up to springtime sunlight.
Smells are mostly fruity hops with some sweeter malts in the background.
Tastes are not much different, except that the bitter hops come through as I drink more.
Feel gets subtractions because low carbonation does not chase away the bitter.
OA: Decent. I'll have this again, but only if I have lesser options.
