Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a burnt orange color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of spices, pumpkin. Taste follows the aroma, pumpkin is more subtle. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a pretty good beer.

Overall enjoyable for the fall.
Pour: nice dark amber. Nice foam for a minute or so. But overall beautiful pour.
Smell: great fall wiff. Nice toasty pumpkin.
Taste: nice pumpkin. Could taste the “pumpkin spice”. Nice toasty pumpkin. Definitely getting hints of brandy at the end. Could tell this was aged in brandy barrels.
Overall: taste is good. Wish there was more carbonation. I don’t enjoy the after taste but I do enjoy the approach. Really great beee for the fall and recommend it to all.

12oz can. Dating stamp on bottom reads 'BB31JAN2024'.
Mostly clear, pale amber colored body. Brief lasting off white head. No lacing.
Aroma expresses cloves/nutmeg/allspice/cinnamon and sweet malts including pumpkin flesh.
Taste is toasted malts joined by spices of cloves, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Touch of pumpkin flesh. All linger into the aftertaste.
Medium mouth feel. Quiet carbonation.
The pie spices taste a little artificial or perhaps are out of balance with the rest of the ingredients. Lacks carbonation.

Was surprised to see Lakefront start popping up in Colorado beer stores so I nabbed a sixer of this for a bit over $10 USD.

From a bottle into a pint glass. Pour has a quickly receding 1/4" beige head atop a clear amber-copper body with moderate effervescence present. Scent is of a lager-ized pumpkin (weaker than heavier pumpkin ales) with notes cloves and allspice being most evidence and other spices lingering in the background. Taste follows well with a very pleasant blending of the pumpkin and spices without every feeling too much. Feel is on the lighter side of medium with a good deal of effervescence evident on the tongue and a nicely spiced aftertaste. Overall a solid pumpking lager, although dialing back the effervescence a notch would make it a bit easier to drink.

12 oz. bottle, best by 11 JAN 23. It's been a while since I've had a beer from this brewery; but i believe i remember trying an Imperial Pumpkin Lager from these guys many years ago.
Poured into a Central Waters snifter.
A - Pours a tawny sunset orange, less than half a finger of head that dies away quickly, leaving only a ring. Mild scattered lacing. Looks ok.
S - Smell is on the weaker side; some buttery pie crust aromas in there, mild spice rack notes, only slightly herbal. Definitely not what i was expecting given the list of ingredients on the bottle. Not detecting much cinnamon or even clove for that matter. Notes of cola emerge.
T - Bready malts up front, very subtle hints of cola-esque spicing, not pulling a lot of pumpkin flavor, but it is in there.
M - Feel is smooth, crisp, clean, with a bready, malty finish, on par for the style of pumpkin beer. Easy-drinking stuff with a modest 6.0% abv.
Overall, not terribly impressive, but definitely an approachable beer.

Drinking in a stemless wine glass after a couple hours in the fridge, bottle reads Jan 11 2023
L: dark orange amber translucent body, off white 2 finger head that quickly dissipates.
S: fall spices and savory pumpkin flesh. A hint of alcohol as well. Smells very promising.
T: very lagery up front with savory pumpkin purée flavor in the backbone, and the fall spices come in about half way through the sip as well as on the backend.
F: medium body, mild carbonation, and a little refreshing despite the abv.
O: I like lagers more than most and I love pumpkin beers, so this is a match made in heaven for me. Next time drinking it cold out of the bottle is probably the best option but you can get away with drinking it in a glass.

Faint smell of pumpkin bread with cinnamon highlights after the cap came off. It poured a cloudy pumpkin orange that quickly pumped up a one-finger head to two as it clarified, though the head dropped rapidly. In the glass a slightly sour note appeared... almost an applesauce made with slightly green apples with cinnamon to cover the sourness... or possibly a red hot candy (been decades since I had one of those). The sourness (not coming off as citrus to me) persists in the taste and is the last flavor left in my mouth. Between the sip and the swallow, the pumpkin and cinnamon make an ephemeral appearance but seem less pronounced the father into the glass I go. I'm guessing the sourness is due to acidity, as the remainder drunk from the bottle was very metallic (something I don't usually notice) and I'm starting to feel it in my stomach. Mouth feel is kind of meh with the sourness overshadowing. Unlike the other pumpkin beers I've rated I'll most likely finish this one (albeit slowly), but this is not the pumpkin beer I was looking for.

A - Just an ever so slight amount of haziness with a nice line of steady carbonation cascading up through the middle of the glass, lacing is dense and thin.
S - Cinnamon, brown sugar, pumpkin, spice, and some gourd.
T - The nose suggests this is very pumpkin forward while the palate suggests otherwise. There's a nice blend between the pumpkin aspect but doesn't detract from the Lager pedigree of the beer. Pumpkin, spice, clove, and cinnamon spice up front but finishes with some lager graininess with a balanced bitterness.
M - Big medium body with a little bit of dryness on he back of the tongue.
O - This is better than I expected and worth a try if you like pumpkin beers. I think this might be my first pumpkin beer in a Lager format. Pretty cool.

This is my first pumpkin lager i’ve tried and I really enjoyed it. Its much more pleasant than i was anticipating and is somewhat addicting to sip on during these cooler summer evenings. I really enjoy the spicey aroma and flavor.

Poured a hazy orange amber with a one finger white head that dissipated to a thin film within a minute. Faint pumpkin spice nose that quickly faded to nothing. Sweet malt forward with a slight one dimensional pumpkin spice finish. A smooth medium body and light carbonation. This brew is a bit disappointing in flavor.

L: Dark orange, slight haze, no head.
S: Pumpkin spice.
T: Light however I feel the pumpkin spice is way too overdone, nearly the only thing I could taste.
F: Its a lager, its light and slightly refreshing.
O: After having the blue moon pumpkin wheat I was excited to try more. However this honestly tastes like a lager with a tablespoon of pumpkin spice in it.

L - Orangish-amber. Slightly hazy. Short white head - not persistent.
S - Sweet pumpkin; pumpkin spice - mostly nutmeg; vanilla or cream.
T - Light and sweet. Quite pumpkin-y. Spice is there, too. Nutmeg and clove.
F - Light.
O - Pumpkin beer isn't really my thing, but this one's okay with a fairly straight-forward pumpkin character.
