12 oz bottle. (April 2014 bottling?)
The hazy reddish-amber body is covered by a small weak head. Aroma of canned cherries and biscuit. The flavor is similar and rather reminiscent of cherry pie, although way less sweet: this lager has a nice mix of sweet, tart and faint bitter aspects.

Cherry Lager pours an amber color with a nice big lacing head. There is a very mellow but cherry filled aroma. The taste has a nice noticeable cherry flavor on a nice crisp backbone. Good flavors, good body, cherry is not overpowering. Overall its a nicely flavored easy drinking Lager.

Pours reddish amber with a light pink head. Little lacing sticks.

The smell is of tart cherry with a grainy backing.

The taste is of sweettart cherries. At times leans towards cherry cough drop, but stays more "real" than "artificial". A grainy backing and a hint of bittering hops in the finish makes it a solid lager.

It has a very smooth, slightly syrupy, body. Very easy to drink.

A nice lager with a cherry character.

Appearance: Just under a half finger of head on the pour which was lightly present while drinking. Color is light ruby red. Active carbonation is pretty much what it should be for the style.

Smell: Fresh tart cherries really pop on the front. Creamy, airy grains provide a solid base for the cherries to stand on. Some buttery yeast on the back end plays along well.

Taste: Sweet and tart cherries hit the palate first, not blasting on to the scene but slowly warming. Buttery malts and yeast grow on the body with some straw and grass. Lingering cloves touch on the back end.

Mouthfeel: Some tartness on the front yields to a pleasant yet simple lager body. Carbonation fits.

Overall: I saw this and it sounded like a quintessential summer brew. It pretty much hit right on with those expectations. The cherries hit in a completely authentic way. It is a simple yet well executed brew, well done Lakefront.
