On tap at Capones. On Nitro.

Poured a medium and clear golden/yellow color with a very small sized white head. Aromas of some graininess and citrus. Tastes of the same graininess, lighter citrus and a corny/honey sweetness. Thin and somewhat watery body.

Served on tap into my huge mug of doom.

A- pours a clear shade of yellow with no head whatsoever. Well thats disappointing. It IS really clear though...can see right through it. No lacing, obviously.

S- faint smell, mostly of corn. Uninspiring

T- I'm getting a very, very subtle hit of hops, but I'm mostly getting corn and malts. Blah

M- feel is good, body is nice and thin and has a smooth, creamy texture to it...as cliche and stupid as that sounds

D- drinkable if only because its so nonoffensive. Nothing to get really worked up about in either direction. Its just kinda...there

This had a finger of rocky, bone-white head with good retention. Color remained a golden-yellow, albeit slightly lighter, but still with NE-quality clarity. The nose was a bit more pronounced in terms of its sweetness. Mouthfeel was medium with a more pronounced sweetness than from the N2 pour. Finish was decidedly mild, very smooth. I would ask for the N2 pour first, but this was not a bad second.

On tap at the Harrisburg LBC location.

A-Slightly hazed golden yellow with a medium white head that reduced to a thin cap and left spotty lace.

S-A touch of sweet biscuit and a passing whiff of floral hops. Certainly nothing to excite.

T-A touch of floral hops quickly doused with biscuit malt sweetness. Not really a whole lot going on here, but nothing unpleasant either.

M-Medium-light bodied fairly crisp and sharp. The best feature about this brew. A nice jaunty feel for a summertime drinker.

D-Clean, crisp and smooth. Nothing wrong but nothing very exciting either. A very "safe" beer. I wouldn't turn another down but I wouldn't search out a second. I would like to try it on nitro though....okay, so one more!

Poured into a pint glass, color is transparent straw, head is bright white, presenting very thick. The pour took several tries as there was a good amount if head.

Smell was subdued, nothing memorable, hints of pale malt and grain, light fruitiness.

Taste is pretty clean, nice cream ale, clean malts and light biscuit flavor. Moderate bitterness.

Mouthfeel is on the bitter side for creams of my preference, but carbonation seems appropriate.

Overall, pretty solid cream ale, a touch overcarbonated.
