L: Pours an attractive orange/copper colour with lots of suspended sediment. A half finger of pale head reduces to a thin cap with rings of lacing.

S: Drinking this cold so the nose is light to say the least. New world hops and wet hay.

T: Sweet malts. Understated hops. Gentle bitterness. Doesn't taste like an American pale ale (no citrus/tropical fruit/pine, not bitter). More like a less austere version of an English pale ale. Suggested style therefore is 'Ozzie pale ale'.

F: Smooth. Gentle carbonation.

O: Excellent session pale ale. I'd definitely drink this if it was available in a pub near me. Would like to try it on draught...but I will need to be in Australia for that.

Dark golden colour, with average head which held for an appropriate time. Good lacing in the glass at the end. Citrus and fruit on the nose, though a bit subtle. mild hop on the palate with average malt back bone. A good beer but not what I remembered 10 years ago when they were independent and much smaller. The wow hop aroma has gone. Still a good beer, just not a wow beer.

On tap at the brewery. Heard so much about this, left feeling underwhelmed. Light golden, more grain than hops, not bitter by APA standards, but appropriate for British style

golden colour, generous head which dissipates rapidly. Realy appetising aroma of citrus and flowers invites a taste. Rich full bodied taste, hoppy but neither too sour or too sweet. A very polished, smooth beer, highly recommended.
