This place may be the best food you've ever had. The food is incredible. The beer selection is good, but the wines are incredible. The food, though, is about as good as it gets. You really need to eat here as soon as you can.
As far as beers go, they have a good selection of foreign and domestics. Don't go expecting anything incredible, but do expect to see a few things you will like. They don't have any real german brews, other than the ones you would expect. The wine selection is awesome. Check out some of the beers they have on the bottom row (some are very good and don't really sell). Nice staff. Not sure if its still there, though.

A great selection and organized very well. they give you a big corner to look at and it has decent room to walk around. If i had to quess, i would say there were around 200-250 beers to choose from. It is also set up very nicely with all the beers from each country together in a very deliberate way which makes it very easy to view the beer.

I have been about 5 or so times, i've never been aproached by a worker. to tell you the truth i like that because when i have been approached at other places by workers, they talk to me like i dont know a thing about beer, and they offer me to try a common euro macro beer that i can get at a decent grocery store, or at best they try get sell me some abita. So i dont mind it one bit.

prices seem average, and compared to a few places, a bit cheaper. go during lunch time and try their lunch.

Its a great place to go to get a lot of beers not available anywhere else down here. And if you want to change things up, they have a huge selection of wine (hence the name), and seems to have quite a selection of cheese, although i am not too familier with that.

Along with the other Martin Wine in Metairie, you'll find the best beer selection that I know of in the New Orleans area. As with every other good beer store in Louisiana the selection of american beer is limited to local brews, and larger craft brew companies. Rogue is easily the best American beer available. Despite the weak market of American craft brew in Louisiana, there is a large selection of international choices. Martin Wine has an excellent selection of Belgian, German and English beers; as well as plenty of choices from many other random countries. Many of these beers aren't available in my home state of Texas, so I was glad the all beers are available as singles at Martin Wine. I didn't receive any serice during my visit, however with a BA on hand I'm sure if I had questions they would get answered. While in New Orleans visit either Martin location, I doubt you'll leave empty handed.

This is a very nice store. I didn't have much time when I went in here, but I was extremely impressed with the whole store. It is a pretty big place and they have a huge selection of wines, beers, and some very nice looking gourmet foods and cheeses.

What I noticed in particular about the beers were that--even with a huge selection of non-refrigerated beers on the shelves, I didn't see a speck of dust on any of them. That is extremely unusual when you have a store that carries over 200 (I am guessing they have more than 200) different types of beer. Two people came up to me and asked if I needed any help while I was in there. The food looked really good--I wish I had more time to check it out and the pricing was quite reasonable.
