Brewed as a model of what good beer should be, this rich, full-flavored Pilsner-style Lager delivers a crisp, refreshing taste.

Well-balanced taste and light hop character with a crisp, clean finish. Modelo Especial is characterized by an orange blossom honey aroma with a hint of herb.

Good all-around beer, definitely not the cheapest in the store. But has a good flavor, mouthfeel and body, for a major North American Brewer. Have had a few times over the years.

Another light pale lager for hot summer days.Golden color and a nice white head. Malty aroma and taste, minimal bitterness, light body, easy to drink.

24 ounce can that was marked down. That it's in a can makes me confident this is how it really tastes. Pretty standard mass light lager, and I wonder if I could pick it out of a lineup. Supremely clear with a good head. Drink it ice cold and it isn't bad. You can taste the adjuncts more than the hops, but it isn't sweet. Becomes undrinkable when it warms too much (which might be a case against the huge can).

Pours a clear yellow with a foamy head.
Smells some of wheat, rice.
Weak mouth feel.
Tastes of mown wheat.
Maybe refreshing, but weak taste.
Not very interesting.

I knew this would be mass-produced swill, but it’s an iconic beer and so on a trip to the US I had to sample it. Drunk in Border Cafe, Burlington, MA, accompanied with some shrimp tacos. The corn adjuncts are hugely apparent, but it did seem to suit the sharp spicy Mexican flavours. Dross, but this Scotsman enjoyed it nonetheless.

Medium gold pour, a rumor of a head. Smell is lots of corn, hint of floral. Taste is corn sweetness, light herbal bitterness. Mouthfeel is thin.

I read this was the best selling beer in America so I tried it despite avoiding it for so long. Check that box, move on, no need yo repeat.
