Prevailing smell and taste of masa. On taste, like most other Mexican beers taste a lot like corn chips. Doesn't look terrible with a kind of nice golden glow, but shares it's problems with other beers of this brewery.

24 oz can. Aroma is as expected - lots of corn mash malt notes - no hops at all. Hey, it's an American Adjunct lager sooooo ya. Taste iiiiiis - better than a Bud so ya. This is my first time trying this beer so naturally I am underwhelmed. All I have to say is it tastes better than the usual suspects, i.e. Bud, Miller, Coors etc.

Pours an off-brown almond color. Head dissipates quickly. Smells skunky; slight hoppy aroma but more generic grains and rices. Tastes very bland; no hop presence and very slight variations on toasted bread. Not my favorite AAL, and at the price, you can definitely get better for cheaper.

Pretty decent, one of my go-to's. Very mild bite, but overall enjoyable taste. I would describe the smell as "skunky" but not entirely unpleasant. The after taste is very similar to a loaf of white bread. Not really a beer for tasting.

I always thought people were exaggerating when they said their beer smells like cat piss. I guess they were being serious, holy crap.

Surprisingly drinkable offering in a frosted mug at a great Mexican restaurant (El Azteca, Sykesville, MD). Great golden color and carbonation, with a frothy head (perfect for a hot summer day). Biscuity malt in the nose with a hint of something good, like floral or honey. Taste is malt with just a hint of bitterness. Soft carbonation, thin body and lack of any off-tastes combine to make a very enjoyable beer with food. Nothing to write home about, unless you're in Mexico, of course.

its a light beer with a little bit of flavor, i'd prefer this to bud light. although at least where i live this is priced pretty premium. light bodied, light straw color. my specimens were from a 24oz can. very little head retention. overall its a good light beer ice cold on a hot day. as it warms up in the cup its a little less appealing. but its not as bad as everyone says. its a crisp light lager. i buy it here and there to replace budlight when i can afford it as it has a bit more flavor!

Pours a golden color with a lithe wjite head. Smells of cracker and lemon. Taste is predominately lemon with some light cracker. Clean, light, and crisp. Not bad for a summer beer.
