God bless my Latino friends for having what seems like about 80 bottles of this in their refrigerator. Without them, I would not be able to try this beer again. Actually that should probably be a federal offense...on with the show.

Pours a very pale golden color with a thin white head that fades to an extremely thin ring very quickly.

No lime in this one! Just that classic Corona skunk and smells of corn syrup and other adjunct aromas.

Taste is mildly sweet with corn, other grains, and this really great skunky profile. I didn't drainpour it, I just drank it extremely cold and extremely fast.

Lots of carbonation and it leaves this strange bite on the back of the tongue.

Let's just say if this were to go above 40°F, I think you'd have to get rid of it immediately. But hey if its a hot day and you can polish this off in under 2-3 minutes then mission accomplished I suppose. And yeah, forget about a glass, just do the lime thing and go straight out the bottle. I can't imagine why people pay for this stuff...it's basically just overpriced, imported Budweiser. If prices were equal, I'd probably choose this over Bud but is that honestly saying much?

Pours a light yellow. There was a head but quickly faded with zero lace. Aroma was not much. A hint of malt and may be some hops. The taste is very light. Not much of a “beer” flavor to it. It is a bit watered down if flavor. Sure you can drink this stuff all day long but is it worth it? Is this the yellow fizzy stuff they talk about on the bottle of Arrogant Bastard Ale?

The marketing people for this beer are absolute geniouses.... how can they take such a lackluster watery putrid flavor beer and turn it into such a beach-party/tropical icon??!!

I took the 12oz bottle and poured it into a pint glass to give it some head. My 3/4" of head died rapidy. No lacing to speak of on the glass. The pale yellow color was expected as it's not hidden from you in the clear bottle. I guess most people drink this right from the bottle but I resist that.

I added a wedge of lime (for tradition .... I guess). The lime overpowered any faint scent of the beer. However a little bit of sickish smell (mmmm how can I better describe it?...)

As far as taste goes.... it better be cold as ice.... because if you let this one get too warm, it'll gag you. But served ice cold... it mellows the taste..as mild as it is.... a little fruity and corny.

The carbonation is about average so mouthfeel is initially OK but aftertaste is kind of putrid... leaves a bad taste.

Overall drinkability is poor.... only if there is nothing else, will I sample another Corona Extra.

330ml bottle poured into a 16oz pint glass.

A - One finger of super fizzy, carbonated white head. Fizzles down to a frothy white cap, and leaves some fantastic lacing. Light golden yellow hue.

S - Smells sweet and light. A lot of corn and some sour citrus, but not much else.

T - Gross. Skunky. I didn't expect to enjoy this one a lot but wow. Putrid skunkiness upfront, with a bit of grain and a touch of sweet citrus in the finish. Light malt and some corn are also present, but this just is not enjoyable. Has a terrible aftertaste.

M - Thin watery body. Light carbonation. Does nothing to help an already poor flavor.

D - Was worse than I expected, and I didn't expect much. I will admit, these Mexican lagers leave some pretty fine lacing, but it's gonna take more than some foam on the glass to impress me, especially when everything else is sub-par.

Pours a clear straw color with minimal white head. Smells of light grains. Minimal taste, slight hop bite and a little citrus. Clean and crisp. It is what it is, a light summer beer.

Corona Extra pours a light yellow from a clear 24oz bottle. The head is a white foam that despites quickly to a wispy ring.

Slight sulfur and slight hops but not much else in the nose. Palate is a thin sulfur, thin skunk, and a very thin malt with a nice carbonation bite for the finish.

Not such a great Beer, Corona Extra has little if any character of an earth shattering Beer. If Modelo would put more money into the Beer instead of the TV ads, every body would be better off.

Appearance- Pours a pale yellow color with very little head, very apparent carbonation.

Smell- Barley, lime, and fizzy carbonation apparent in nose.

Taste- Only descernable flavor is that of malted barley mixed in with fizzy water.

Mouthfeel- Relatively clean on tongue, does have somthing of a funky aftertaste.

Drinkability- Not horribly unpleasant if your looking for somthing to taste cheap and pay relatively high amounts of dough for it, if you like that sort of thing.
