12oz. clear bottle. Consumed from the bottle with a lime. This is how it's intended to be drank(now) so that's how I'll review it.

A: Pale yellow and crystal clear. Similar to clear lemonade. Lots and lots of bubbles.

S: Before adding the lime wedge, I poured a bit into a glass to get a sent. Nothing much at all. A tiny bit of grain, maybe? A bit of herbal notes. With the lime in the bottle, that's all you get.. lime.

T/M: For the style and with the lime from the bottle, it's not absolutely terrible. Tastes like highly carbonated limeaid. Why would you want to beer that tastes like limeaid you ask? You could ask the same about IPA's and grapefruit. Mouthfeel is very light and highly carbonated... very good if your in the mood for something very light.

D: One of the easiest beers to drink. This beer gets dumped on so much and I guess it deserves some of it, but, if you're in the mood for something light and something you can just suck down when you're hot and thirsty, then this isn't a bad choice. I'll admit to purchasing a 6er every few months.

I used to drink this back in the day before I knew any better. Since discovering good beer, I haven't had a Corona in years. Out of curiosity I've been looking at the negative reviews here and have been wanting to revisit it for a while, just to see if it's as bad as they say. Finally got my chance at a Mexican restaurant that didn't have much else. The verdict: I don't think it's as horrible as it's made out to be, however, it's pretty uninspiring.
Not much to say as it's bland, simple and watery. Pours a piss yellow color with virtually no head. I did not detect the skunky aroma everyone talks about here. I smelled mostly corn, which was evident in the taste also. Other than that, the taste was mostly clean, watery and with virtually no hop flavor. Served in a chilled glass it was actually kind of refreshing. Something tells me that it would be a different story at a warmer temperature, but I'm not sure if like to try. The body is quite light.
I found it overall to be inoffensive, bland, and at best somewhat refreshing. Would I have it again? Probably not.

A- Very fast dissapating head, intense carbonation. Clear yellow body. The head really doesn't even leave a lace at top. Not good looking.

S- Sweet ethanol, not too robust. Some skunky grains.

T- Watery, very watery. There's some bitterness at the end with a hint of hops. Ethanol is in the middle. Really the ethanol and corn flavors are dominant but they are somewhat masked by the watery, metalic, rotten veggies. The best thing it has going for it is the lack of aftertaste.

M- Clean, light boddied, strong carbonation.

D- easy to drink but not worth drinking in the first place.

Notes: Nasty

Ah, Corona extra... gotta be one of the most profitable beers in the world. One of the original bottled waters! At least it's safer to drink than much of the water in the world.
Appearance? you can tell that from the clear glass bottle... but for the sake of science I have poured some into a pint glass.
Forms a brief foam phenomenon then fades away. Some hints of lacing try desperately to hold but the white fades back into the yellow, bubbly bog.
Very nearly odorless. Nothing off putting. Nothing appealing. Water with a hint of something that may have been a malt or hop bud at some point in time.
Taste? Ha! Needs a lime. I'm going limeless this time, again for the sake of science. Water once again. Nearly flavorless. The mouthfeel is watery with a faint hint of bitterness from time to time.
Easy enough to drink, but really, why bother? Drink it out of the bottle as cold as possible if you have to drink it at all. This is expensive swill at usually $16 for a 12 pack. Instead, get yourself some Schlitz; you can stick a lime wedge in there, too, and save yourself a bunch of money.
The company really went through the effort to make Corona Light? Really? It is hard to imagine this being more weak or flavorless.

Appearance: Clear dandelion-yellow with an amber tint. White head. No retention and no lacing.

Smell: Skunk sprays from the bottle upon opening, but thankfully dissipates rather quickly, leaving only a slight tweak of skunkiness in my glass. Besides that, there is kind of a grassy smell plus an odd sweetness, a cross between pee and peas. A fruity edge and some doughy yeast are also detectable.

Taste: So very, very weak. It's hard to identify anything other than corn and a dish soapy lemon pucker on the back of the tongue. I wish I had a lime.

Mouthfeel: Unpleasant.

Drinkability: I haven't said anything good about this beer, but this is certainly very drinkable if served ice-cold with a lime. I actually prefer Corona Light, because it is slightly more refreshing; this one has a strangely sticky mouthfeel.
