Pours a basic transparent yellow color with a white head that doesn't stay long. Smells like skunk funk & grain! Classic corona. Taste follows the smell, not a whole lot there though since it's a light beer. This beer is pretty high in carbonation, thin, but goes down exceptionally well. Let's be honest here, this is one of the best LIGHT beers you can get, so don't judge this beer off of the best pilsner you have had; judge it for what it is. Garnish this beer with a lime & go get in the pool or mow your lawn & you wont be disappointed.

Appears golden yellow with a white foamy head that dropped quickly.
Smells lightly bready and lightly floral.
Taste, I'd like to say that the taste follows the nose, truth is like most light beers there just isn't much taste.
Mouth feel is medium light for the style with good carbonation.
Overall, drink some thing else. The reason you would put a lime into a Corona Light is that it will at least taste like lime.

Had Corona Light on Cinco de Mayo 2020 poured from 12-oz. bottle, neck stamped "C070C099 19:23," into pilsner glass. Had to give it a good chance, right?

It's good to drink a macro beer every now and again, to remind me how much I love beer, period.

This beer pours bright light-medium gold, with a creamy near-white head. So, good so far. Aroma of sweet malt and grass hops, not bad, but there's also some little funk I can't place. Hmmm. On drinking, flat, a little dry malt, and a bit of a metallic finish. Gets worse as the glass empties. Will try next one with lime.

Let me be as clear as I can be - I would rather drink *PISS* than drink this 'beer' - except, EXCEPT, if the person pissing was drinking a Corona - then I would NOT drink that piss.

One of the best beers I regularly drink is Corona Extra. It's an easy beer to enjoy and common at bars. I went to purchase a 12 pack at my local beer store and got light instead by accident. Not a fan of light beer but I thought I would give it a try. If you are trying to imagine how Corona Light tastes, imagine going to a barbeque. You get your burger and notice it doesn't look the same, it's a vegan burger. You don't have anything against vegans, and you heard the vegan burger is actually not that bad. Willing to give it a try because well, you love burgers, you take a bite. It's not the same, not at all. Never have you ever tasted something so wrong, even knowing it would be different. This beer is honestly one of the worst beers I have ever drank in my life. I couldn't even finish the bottle. I couldn't tell which was worse, not finishing a beer or continuing to drink the beer flavored water.

Trying on tap at TJ Flats. Served in a 16 oz plastic cup. Color is standard. Thin head quickly gone. Lightly carbonated some corny malt. No real hopping detected. No real body. No finish. Get my food here to wash this down. Terrible. This is not worth the effort.

(clear 12 oz bottle, B219C049; purchased single off shelf; quick-chilled in freezer, poured into simple mug)

L: brilliantly-polished clear, pale gold liquid; tight, spongy white foam, collapses quick till thin cap remains; very little lace

S: cap off, skunk fumes before pour... all skunk after poured in mug; as it fades, cardboard and stale masa notes emerge, faint note of caramel corn kernels... the skunk really does never disappear completely

T: wow, the skunk jumps in the first sip, though the finish opens up briefly, showing some dry, biscuity cereal meal; skunk returns briefly in the aftertaste, then fades while being replaced by grain husk and a mild metallic note... after a few sips, a subtle burnt, ashy note rises in the aftertaste... the background malt character is fairly standard for the style; gets marginally less off-putting as it goes

F: relatively highly-carbonated bite, sizzling on the tongue, crackling at the back of the palate... body is a bit on the thin side, flat contour... kinda what I'd want in a light lager - yes sir, I like it

O: probably not going to try (and compare with) a canned version; the underlying beer is what counts, and it does taste like a slightly thinner version of the Extra (1437)

Too grainy. It’s wet and cold and smells like beer. You can chug this one if you’re into that sort of thing. One could I suppose, sip these all day the beach but I’d be tired of it after the third one. I could try this again with a lime wedge but I’d rather get a Sol.

Don't like Corona much, and this is not any better. Tastes like a watered down version of the original.
Not the worst beer I've had, but far closer to the bottom than the top.

I honestly love craft beer, but at the same time nothing beats a Corona Light (or extra) with a lime in it during summertime. Going to Cancun in a few weeks and Coronas very well may be all I drink down there. Mostly all I drink when I go to any type of beach or tropical area.

Looks fine for what its supposed to be. Smells like weed 9/10 times and I give this a 1 here because Corona knows this but doesn't care and tells you to put a lime in it. Taste is unoffesive but not very great. Feel is summer. Overall a 2

Question: Can you feel more alive than riding through the Social Security office parking lot in the bed of your mate Gordon Blevins’ 1991 Dodge Ram with a Misty® Slim 120 pinched between your lips?

Answer: Yes. You can drink a Corona Light.

Looks like gold. Tastes like gold. Feels like gold. Tries to take your panties off, and you let it.

In my opinion there isn't much difference in taste to Corona Extra, just a slight amount less bold. If you like Corona Extra you'll like this, simple as that. Like the Extra, it's essential to have a lime wedge or lime juice with it, it just makes the drink.

12 ounce bottle into lager glass, L067A059 bottle code. Pours crystal clear pale golden yellow color with a 1 finger fairly dense white head with poor retention, that reduces to a thin spotty lace cap that lingers. Slight spotty lacing clings on the glass, with a light amount of streaming carbonation. Good appearance. Aromas of cracker, corn, white bread, lightly toasted biscuit, pepper, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with pale malt/grains and light-moderate earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of cracker, corn, white bread, lightly toasted biscuit, pepper, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate herbal, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of cracker, corn, white bread, lightly toasted biscuit, pepper, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. A bit of skunky aromas/flavors, but not overwhelming at all. Nice robustness and balance of pale malt/grains and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and no astringent flavors after the finish. Moderately crisp/clean finishing. Perfectly clean on lager flavors, with no fruity/yeasty notes present. Moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and light body; with a very smooth and fairly bready/grainy/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is good. A bit thin but not watery. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.1%. Overall this is a good light adjunct lager. All around good robustness and balance of pale malt/grains and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink. Surprisingly flavorful for the ABV. Very clean pils malt/grains, and nice earthy hop presence/balance for the style. Not overdone on adjuncts. A nicely enjoyable offering, and impressive style example. Thought this was better than the Extra overall.

Perhaps the poorest light beer I have ever tasted. Nothing much of a head to speak of, a lifeless body, very minor aroma, and a flavor that follows suit. I have tasted some half-decent light beers, but I will not be drinking this one ever again, not even for free.

Clear pale golden; I can't comment on the head, I drank from the bottle. Also no comment on the smell; The taste is acceptable, very mild to the point of being bland, not much flavor to it; The feel is crisp and carbonated. After working with a chainsaw on a hot afternoon, I was offered a Corona Light. I didn't turn it down. It was cold and refreshing. I did notice that the last swallow after it had warmed a bit, wasn't as good as the first cold drink. For a light beer, it wasn't awful. Had I drunk this in other circumstances, I might have rated it closer to the BA average.

This is a middle of the summer, hot as hell, chilled off beer to guzzle with a lime to add. Never poured this beer. Never will. Wah, wah. You drink it because it tastes good. In the middle of the summer. When the beer is ice cold. All right yellow in the bottle. Slam it, one, two, three. With the lime it is all right. Straw, a slight citrus taste. But that is not the point. Tell me wrong.

Another example of why I would rather have water. Just a watered down version of Corona, making a bad beer even worse. Although I will say that among Light beers it is one of the better offerings.

Safe, easy-to-drink light lager perfect for days on the beach or to accompany plentiful Mexican food. Typical yellow color with just mild head and fairly high carbonation, yet thin mouthfeel without much lingering aftertaste. Notes of fruit and light grain. Definitely has to be consumed with a lime wedge, which may or may not be a bad sign.

This tastes like the Corona Extra watered down 1/3 with water in order to reach 103 calories. Other than the lower carbs, it has all the negatives of corona Extra and no other positive. I'd rather have any other diet beer.

The problem with this site is that we're all beer connoisseurs so this piss swill is beneath us.
I get that, and Corona Light would by no stretch of the imagination be my preferred choice. With that said I think it's more useful to judge beers as to how well they rate based on their style. As far as light beers go I find Corona Light much cleaner than say Coors Light. For a light beer I'd rate Corona Light 2nd to Amstel Light in drinkability while maintaining low carbs and calories with a respectable alcohol content for the style.

Thin and fizzy, goes down easy without the offensive aftertaste of many macro brews. If you're on a diet and looking for a good session beer, I think this is a solid choice.

L-Light yellow...clear...minimal head... lot of carbonation bubbles.

S-Fruity..apples, pears...

T-A little minerally....slight fruitiness...not a lot of flavor...bland

F-Spritzy...on the light side of light...high carbonation keeps it from feeling super thin..

O-Below average adjunct light lager. Did a blind taster with this, Michelob Light and Hamms Light and this was the clear #3. Would reach for many, many light beers ahead of this one.
