Look: Clear bright yellow with a nice high white head that has four minutes of retention and leaves no lacing.
Smell: Light putrid grains.
Taste: Has the trademark “skunky” bitterness of the original but it’s more subdued by undertones of grainy tap-water.
Feel: High in the mouth and coarsely carbonated, but fuller bodied than most light piss-lagers.
Overall: Decent enough for what it is. Worth a try if eating out at a Mexican restaurant with limited beverage options.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

From the clear glass bottle, it pours a nice clear golden color with a modest white head that quickly reduces to a very thin ring. The nose gets grainy malt. The mouth follows with a very light malt flavor with modest bitterness - drink it cold and with a lemon to give it at least some flavor.

 

 

 

 

 

Clear golden color. Medium-sized, white head. Faint aroma of malt and grain. Not much is going on in the taste. Well, this is the way it was intended to be.
