A: Pours a crystal clear pale straw yellow in color with light to moderate amounts of visible carbonation. The beer has a quarter finger tall fizzy bright white head that quickly reduces to a very thin ring at the edges of the glass. Minimal lacing is observed.
S: The predominant smell of this beer is a moderate aroma of skunk that can be detected as soon as the beer is opened and poured. There are also some light to moderate notes of adjunct malt sweetness. The smell is almost offensive with the amount of skunk in it.
T: This beer has a very light/mild flavor overall and there is almost nothing to note in the taste. Very light presence of adjunct malts (corn and rice) with just the lightest hint of bitterness.
M: Light bodied with moderate to heavy amounts of carbonation. Thin and watery.
O: Not a great beer or even a good one, I guess this is best drunk (if ever) in the hot sun at the beach for hydration - though I think I would personally prefer water. I hate the clear glass bottle as I'm sure that does not help with the skunky notes.

Grupo Modelo S.A. de C.V. "Corona Light"
12 oz. clear glass bottle
Let's face it, Corona Light is just Corona Extra with water added, there's nothing going on in its production beyond that. So how does it stand up? Pretty well I think. The flavor profile is the same as the original, and the balance remains as there are hardly any hops in Corona to begin with. It's fairly well made, and except that they're using clear glass for the bottles which can lead to skunking, it's not a bad light beer. Calorically it's not a real winner though as the following list suggests:
110 - Bud Light
109 - Corona Light
102 - Coors Light
96 - Miller Lite
95 - Michelob Ultra

A pint on tap as part of the (re?)introduction of this beer in keg form ... this is a good idea for a beer bottled in clear glass.
Appearance: Pours clear, thin-looking, and very pale yellow in color with a short-lived white head.
Smell: Contrary to many reviews of the bottled version, this was not particularly skunky or sulfuric. Instead, it had a faint aroma of light, bready malt.
Taste: very light, as advertised, featuring a touch of barley grain with a bit of corn and a hint of hops,
Mouthfeel: Very thin-bodied with a water feel, but given some life by the medium carbonation.
O: Not offensive but not much to like either. At least I got a free hat.

Poured from a 12oz can into a US tumbler pint glass.
A: The beer is a very light yellow color nearly see-through, with almost no head and no lace on the glass.
S: The aroma is of corn, adjuncts, very light malts and almost no hops.
T: The taste has only a little bit of flavor from the adjunct and light malt sweetness and even that isn't very strong. Any hops used in brewing this beer are undetectable not there's nothing else to this beer at all.
M: Watery, very light body, high carbonation, finish is clean (pretty much the only compliment I can give this beer).
D: Not flavorful at all, goes down easily because it's so light, not filling at all, extremely mild kick, even within a lackluster style this beer falls very short and is just not good unless you want to drink a beer that has almost no chance to get you drunk.

Reviewed from notes. Poured into a pint glass.
Pours a transparent golden color with a lot of carbonation and really not much of a white head. The nose is a bit skunky with some really, really light grain. The taste is just about nothing. Lightly-skunked hops and some faint grain husks. Very light with high carbonation. This tastes bad.

First had: at some terrible bar, I'm guessing
Pours yellow-gold, thin, and fizzy, often served with a lime (I'm assuming so you can blind yourself with it and be taken to the hospital before having to drink the Corona). Smells stale; tastes of pure skunk personified and sickeningly stale/sweet. Bitter, rotten aftertaste. Avoid at all costs.
My theory on how Corona is made...many agree with me: 10000 Mexicans each drink a bottle of cheap tequila and then pee into a large vat. Then the contents of the vat are bottled up and shipped to your local dive bar!

I have been scouring my local bottle shops, picking up stray singles here and there and this was one of them. I only hope that people will forgive me for straying so far from The CANQuest (TM), bottle be getting back to it shortly.
Like I wrote in my CAN review, this seems like a product of the Department of Redundancy Department. Corona and Light just seems like doubling down. My pour created a finger of very fizzy bone-white head that was bubbling its way out of existence almost as quickly as I could pour. Color was a pale lemon-yellow with NE-plus quality clarity. I could see into the future through this one and it was not pretty! Nose was pretty cereal-adjunct laden and there was no disguising it. Pheh! Mouthfeel was fizzy with a mere modicum of watery taste on the tongue. Blah! Finish was dry and refreshing, but water would have the same effect and this was effin' close to water! Why, oh why, do I do this to myself.

Corona Light as in most Mexican beers taste best in the summer with a lime...however, judging Corona Light solomente...its just another no frills cerveza! The beer poors golden clear with good carbonation that give a white foamy head for a brief time. The smell and taste are enhanced with grain. The hops help somewhat with the taste so that it is not bread water. Mouthfeel is easy especially on hot days...enjoy!

12 ounce bottle - $1.49 at Total Wine & More in Kennesaw, Georgia.
Appearance: Pours out a clear, thin-looking, pale yellow body with a foamy layer of white suds on top, though this soon dies down.
Smell: Jesus, what is going on with that scent, it smells particularly skunky with a big whiff of rotten eggs. It's no wonder I've put off revisiting this beer for so many years.
Taste: Barely a hint of insipid barley grain up front, with a touch of corn-based sweetness, no real hop character or bitterness, but a troublesome metallic bent to it. Small crackle of carbonation on the weak, less-than-clean finish.
Mouthfeel: Thin-bodied with a mouthfeel that is quite watery.
Drinkability: Unclean and unpleasant. I certainly couldn't fault anyone for chucking a lime into this, or even the adding salt thing I occasionally people engaging in, 'cause this beer needs some help.
