A very weak offering...a light pale yellow in colour, short head and minor lace with an exceptable ring.
Thin body.
Carbonation is the high point which is lively.
Aroma is mildly skunky.
Tasteless really, well balanced to prove.
When in Mexico, drink something else.

Ap. Very pale yellow with almost no head or lacing. Some continuing fine bubbles.
Sm. Grain? Corn? Chemical? Not so good.
Ta. Same, heavy on the corn flavor with an aftertaste I don't care for much.
Mf. Thin, light, not much.
Dr. What am I going to do with the other five bottles?

pours out a clear and bright yellow golden colour. thin foamy head that dissipates quickly. a non-existant aroma...maybe a hint of corn and grassy hops. taste is virtually not there either. is this beer?? battles corona for most tasteless mexican brew. clean and smooth and with hardly a hint of any real aftertaste. might score a bit higher for drinkability for easy poundability without even realizing you might drinking beer. either that or it would make for a good tequila chaser or a cool liquid to wash down spicy mexican food. otherwise not much to write about. a pretty lame "beer".

Ok bought in the 12 oz brown long neck
Pretty lackluster looking brew indeed..urine yellow with a tiny fizzy head that dissapears..just like a soda.
Aroma is quite weak..chemical type smell..may be the hops though..
Taste is like what i imagine Corona tastes like when not totally skunked..light malts a hint of hops and a bunch of fizz.
Not great for me on the palate..way too carbonated.
Its drinkable if ice cold..its better than Corona..thats as good as this beer gets.

Poured from a 12 oz. bottle into a pilsner glass.

Appearance: Pours a translucent golden color, like a typical American macro. The almost non-existant head dissipates quickly leaving absolutely no lacing.

Smell: Grainy with a little bit of malty sweetness. Once again, typical macro territory.

Taste: Typical macro territory. Grainy and a little sweet.

Mouthfeel: Thin, watery, and over-carbonated.

Drinkability: Your typical macro lager. This beer is pretty much Corona under a different label. Don't be fooled.

look: 1.5 | smell: 2 | taste: 2 | feel: 1.5 | overall: 2

Appearance: lightness personified, clear yellow, with a short, soon dead head, leaving only upwardly migrating bubbles, but nothing lasting on top.

Aroma: corny and sweetish...vastly empty otherwise...not unpleasant, but not pleasant, either...

Taste: wet, miniscule malt, hardly any flavor to speak of, no body, no texture, no mouthfeel beyond the carbonation, and trifling hints of citrus in the taste...Alcoholic soda pop?

Very limited appeal in this one...a thin, hollow, un-tasty alcohol delivery system. Bleh.

12oz long neck @ Don Pedro's.

Light yellow with no head. Nose is lameo and tameo. Not much to say, standard American AL.

Taste is on par with appearance, very mellow and easy drinking but now much flavor other than carbonation and a slight bitterness.overall not good. Go for dose equis at your Mexican restaurant of choice.

Tried at Old Chicago as part of the Cinco de Mayo mini tour

On tap in chilled mug

A-pale yellow with fizzy head that fades quickly

S-some kind of cross between metal and corn

T-maybe it is from the smell, but I cant get past the corn and metal here also

M-thin and watery with fizzy carbonation

O-Grainy and metallic not something that I like in beer but something that is unfortunately not limited to just this brew. Not the worst beer that I have ever had, just the worst in awhile

Fizzy beer with a lot of bubbles. Head disapeared as soon as it was poured.

Has a weak beer smell that is not very inviting.

Taste is grainy, not much flavor, leaves a dry slightly bitter after taste.

Mouthfeel is watery despite the high carbonation.

Overall - Nothing I would ever buy again.

I’m not sure why I torture my taste buds with this kind of beer, knowing I don’t like them, but here it goes anyway.

Beer pours a translucent bright gold and the head modest in size, brilliantly white with the lace thin sheets clinging to the glass. Malt nose, crisp and clean, front is malt, the top cadaverous, finish astringent, hops AWOL, dry aftertaste, drinkable, but leaves me “Lost In Space”, Danger Will Robinson, contagion in a bottle.

12oz bottle into a pint glass.

Pours a clear pale gold with a fizzy one finger head.

Smells of sweet corn and rubber. Also a hint of lemon.

The flavor is a little better but not much. Somewhat astringent from the get go and very adjunct tasting. Some corn and bread along with a citric tartness but that odd bitterness lingers throughout.

This is really not a good beer. I would probably take Corona over this.

appearance: light golden lager look. very bubbly white head, which goes away in a second. Very little carbonation.

Smell: Almost no smell. Just a little hopy taste.

Taste: Very little taste. Maybe just a little bitter and kind of dry. Not much to describe to be honest.

Drinkability: With the low ABV i could down many of these and not even know. I pass on this mexican clara (clear). Manly because of the lack of taste and the dry taste.

Meh. Swillish. Unappealing yellow, Budweiser-remnant color. No head. Bubbles. Smell is lacking- some malt, little hops. Vague citrus hints. Taste is... not so pleasant. A lime might help to hide some of the unpleasantness in here, but I've always thought that if a lime is needed... well... that's not a good sign!
Watery watery watery, with a decently clean finish. Drinkable, sure, if accompanied by a spicy meal, or at the end of a drinking eve when your palate is wrecked anyway. But ultimately... pass this one by. Go with Brooklyn Lager, or Sam Adams- you'll be much happier.

Poured from 12oz bottle into shaker pint glass.

Appearance: Very pale gold color with a large, but thin-looking, white head that dissipates quickly and doesn't really leave lace behind.

Smell: Smells like corn, with a bit of grain.

Taste: Begins with a sweet corn flavor, finishing with the same flavor, just more intense. A hint of grain husk in the finish.

Mouthfeel: Light body with sharp carbonation and a watery, refreshing finish.

Drinkability: Is this Corona in a different bottle? This beer is really crappy, and really avoidable. Sure, it's easy to drink, but it has no use to me unless I'm trying to get drunk.

12 oz. brown bottle. this was labeled as "Pacifico Clara". I'm assuming it's the same beer being reviewed here.

appearance: pale pale pale gold with chintzy head that dissipated quickly. smell: just bad metallic odor. taste: i had this in a mexican restaurant with really good food and the beer just ruined it. too grainy and metallic-tasting.. no different from american macro beers when it comes to tase. mouthfeel: not much to say here. drinkability: low because the tase was so bad. ruined my meal. next time get negra modelo or sangria.

Bland, unexciting, the best part being the slice of lime. Light malty aroma and taste, appearance was flat looking, not much taste or aftertaste to speak of. Good for washing down a burrito at least.

Enjoyed this 12 oz bottle out of a standard pint glass at La Casita in Crofton, MD.

A: Pours a clear pale yellow hue with a thin 1-finger white head that quickly dissolves into a thin wispy lace.

S: Very thin nose - light grains and mild hops.

T: Similar to the smell the flavor isn’t much better unfortunately - mild grains and hops.

M: Medium body and medium carbonation.

O: This is not a beer I would recommend – there just isn’t much flavor here.

This beer was being given away during cinco de mayo, so I grabbed one. Nothing notable about this beer. Didn't smell very strong or taste very good. Not too offensive though and very easy to drink. This is not a beer I would buy, but if found for free it is better then drinking no beer.

Poured out of bottle into a pint glass. Almost no color in the pour, just the slightest yellow. A nice finger of white head formed but quickly dissipated to nothing.
No real beer smell. There is a mild smell of cleaning supply and cement.
Tastes like corn (w/o butter) and seltzer water.
Smooth feeling, low carbonation and goes down easy.
It had potential to at least look good until the head retreated into nothing. It does not taste like anything so it is not technically "undrinkable" but it really just tastes like water. Maybe fill a waterbottle up for a bike ride to keep hydrated. But as a beer it really fails.

This beer poured a thin white head. The nose was just awful. The hue was golden and there was carbonation observed. The mouthfeel was weak and watery and lacked character. I was not overly impressed with this beer to say the least. It had a bitter taste to it as well an an aftertaste that lingered.

Poured a clear yellow with no head. Typical AAL appearance. Scents of maize, creamed corn, apple juice and slight lager yeast. A weak scent, very sweet, nothing much there to like. Tastes of maize, creamed corn, maize sugar, watery apple juice and very, very slight hop extracts. It's a pretty bad AAL flavor, very sweet and just not fun. Mouthfeel is light bodied, high carbonation and watery. It's very light, let some what hard to drink because it's so carbonated. Overall this was a pretty bad AAL. It just wasn't very good at all.

On tap (yeah I know, crazy) at Wahoo's in Tustin, California.

So depressing. Many times I've cruised down to Baja sippin' on Mexi beers served with napkins on top. When I was 22 n under, I used to luv dat shit. But Raul done grown up and moved on to tha real goodies. And Pacifico? Sigh...

Even the most beautiful Ensenada Sunset couldn't save this monstrosity. And even fresh out of tha tap at my fav American/Mexican taco joint, it still tasted funky like dat stick of bubblelicious under your mama shoe. Smell? Skunk and/or nothing. Head? More flaccid than a sailor after a romp on tha town.

This beer nasty. But it could be worse, it could be Corona.

Pours a pale yellow color with tons of bubbles, active head with little retention or lacing. Scent is almost non existent with only minimal qualities of pale straw and light cooked corn. Taste is also very light with the corn tastes overshadowing the pale straw, light hop extract flavor with minimal bitterness and some faint astingency. Overly carbonated and bubbly, very light body. Not much of a winner with the strong cooked corn flavors and high carbonation.

This thing pours the typical yellow fizz and sports a tiny little head. Aromas are none the appealing-adjuncty and disjointed this beer seems to plead for a slice a lime to lift it to greater heights, and hide its flaws. It's like the beer forgot to apply deodorant and now it's all in the raw and smelling ripe. The mouthfeel is soda like in texture, fizzy and very watery. Flavors are virtually non existant? An unnatural grainy, cloying, sweet nastiness remains on the finish reminding me to switch brands. This is the stuff that you get sick on in high school, and no wonder!

A couple of years ago, I went through about 3 cases of this stuff. Mostly for the bottles. Great bottles for homebrew. And it would be hard not to brew a beer better than this.

Golden Pilsner color with decent beading but no head and just a slight collar.

Adjunct in the nose. Almost all i can get.

taste and mouthfeel is water, metalics and slight malt.

Overcarbonated and not very good.
