Poured into a wine glass from a 12oz can

A - golden and translucent with a half finger bright white head that quickly disapates.

S - funky hop, sweet/dry malts, super yeasty and not much else

T - sweet, bready yeast, huge funk, little to no hops, slightly sweet/slightly toasted/dry malts grains (creates some taste bud confusion) and has a not how bitter

M - medium light body, ok balance, ok complexity, medium plus carbonation, medium acidity and a very simple Mexican style lager

D/O - not a whole lot to say here. Refreshing and crisp and goes great on a warm-hot day with most types of food. This one also makes a decent chelada.

Final thoughts - at $10 or more for a 12 pack and less than 5% ABV which is low but definitely makes for good BBQ drinking

My first time drinking this beer was quite the experience. On the beach in Mexico with my pals after a long day of snorkeling, and dolphin riding. I was exhausted from the long day, and the taste of an ice cold beer was just incredible. A year later I cracked open another one. Let's just say this is a beer best served on the hot beach. Very disappointing to say the least.

Firstly, these scores are for the style. Mexican beers are known to be plain and not exciting.
Looks crystal clear and yellow, not unlike a bud light.
Smells fairly neutral. Little earthy.
Tastes a little bitter. Crispy. Not really very bad for the style. Still relatively neutral when compared with beers from other styles.
Feels a little watery and fizzy. A little astringent, soap-like too.
Overall, very drinkable. I'd buy this if I wanted to do a kegger and not throw up in the middle of the night.

This one's an excellent alternative to Corona should you need one. Hardly even needs a lime if you ask me. Absolutely one of my go to summer beers for hitting the lake.

This is probably my go-to Mexican beer...so when cinco de mayo came around this year, i picked up a 6-er. It's got a fuller taste to it than Budweiser or some other American lagers. But, alas, it's still a mass produced lager..that tastes ok with a lime stuck in it

Like the dry mouthfeel, as it's noticeably different from some of my favorite Mexican beers, like Estrella Jalisco and Modelo, but it's also a surprisingly harsh beer. Not easy to finish the 24oz can I had and was admittedly difficult to grab another beer afterwards.

This may not be the best craft beer, or even a craft beer. But where it shines is in everyday drinkability. All cervezas look and smell similar. The taste of this is what sets it apart from the Corona drinkers of the world. You are not missing much by skipping over this beer but it would be good for a themed party. Rests easy in the tummy.

24 ounce can poured into a pint glass

A: Pours a clear straw color with a dull white head, no retention or lacing, looks really thin and light.

A: Sweet corn, slight grassy note, not much else, very bland.

T: Like the nose, lots of corn, slight lemon, grassy note, there's a strange metal taste in the finish.

M: Light bodied, low carbonation.

O: Not a big fan of adjunct lagers and this one fits right in the category, low on every aspect, I'd only drink this again if I on a hot summer day but there are better beers for southern CA summers.

This is an adjunct lager, so you kind of know what you are getting into but this is the best of this style I have had. Not so much corn flavor, and very refreshing.
