Perhaps the best Mexican lager if you want to drink a few and not have any offensive taste. Flavor is maltier than Pacifico but not by much despite darker appearance. Only 4% alcohol so I can drink three in hot weather and have a bit less wooziness but still feel beered up! Highly recommended for old blokes like me who just love beer but know they need to feel great in the morning. $15 for a 12 pack here in SC. Also, less offensive gas symptoms versus those delicious Hazy (yeasty) IPAs.

Victoria has a clear, deep golden or even amber appearance, with some bubbles streaming up and a medium, white head. The aroma is of toasted barley malt and clean water, and the taste is also of barley. A light hop presence is in play for balancing. Also, one detects a pleasant sweetness. Mouthfeel is light and watery, and Victoria finishes crisp, refreshing, and mostly dry, although not as much as American beers. This is a low-alcohol, yet enjoyable Mexican beer. I certainly think it’s worth giving a try. RJT

There’s no way this beer should be rated as “poor”. It should get a good from the look alone. This is the absolute clearest beer I’ve ever scene. It is a crystal clear light reddish amber color. Not a lot of smell, clean malt beer smell. The taste is light very balanced, non-descript hops, light malts. Very drinkable. I detect no adjuncts. This is really good quality beer. The best Mexican beer I’ve ever had. Try it in a clear glass so you can see the beautiful color it’s stunning. The taste is really good too.

Large capped bottle poured into a pint glass.
This was another beer that I had while in Mexico, trying to find something nice in the basence of Negra Modelo in my hotel.
Golden color, it already starts showing more than all the others had before.
Aroma is not in your face, but shows some maltiness, caramel, and cookies.
Light to medium bodied, this one has taste, compared to the others. Same caramel, cookie, some hoppy bite. Nothing in your face, nothing spectacular, but tasty, and the best option I found around.

29 Jan 2013 and we sail into Huatulco, a purpose built beach resort on Mexico's pacific coast. The beach bar that gets our custom has four beers to choose from, this being the only one I'd never had before.
The weather was hot (92F/44C) and sunny, a light lager was what was needed even if it was only 09.50 in the morning!
This wasn't your usual pale golden colour: this had a deeper hue to it, leaning towards a copper hint to its clear and clean looks (the bright sun light helped to make it look even better), small white head on top.
Grainy nose, but not a lot of anything really.
Refreshing more than tasty: this doesn't have any depth of flavours, it does have traces of hops and malts within but it's supposed to replenish lost liquids in your body not give you a warm, cosy feeling.
OK for what it is.

Poured into trusty tulip
A - Deeper than most mexicans...nice head and lace.
S - Nice pronounced malt smell unusual for a Mexican.
T - Bigger than usual, but peters out in the end.
M - Full, but short experience. Turns to wash way too soon.
D- Certainly a session beer, despite the comments.

I bought this beer wanting to try something different. The smell and taste is great but the beer was nearly flat and had very little carbonization. Not sure if this is normal with it but that was a disappointment. Very low alcohol content compared to the IPAs I normally purchase. The carbonation may have been an issue with just this batch, it's expiration date is February 2021 so it is not old.

Victory lager is a Vienna lager style beer that pours to a light tan color. The foam on this beer is very slight and it doesn’t last long at all, leaving behind a not so attractive beer. The nose on this beer is one of sweet grains and rather mild to the senses.
Tasting this beer yields a flavor that is rather, well, so- so. It features flavors of sweet grains, lightly toasted malt, a touch of caramel, and is very smooth. The issue is that the taste just isn’t very pronounced. The body of the beer is light and crisp and the taste is refreshing enough, but the product tastes like it was brewed with only a fraction of ingredients it was intended to be brewed with.
Victoria lager is a decent enough product and it likely won’t offend anyone, but it is quite unremarkable and it leaves little that is memorable. Try some if you like, just don’t expect to come away from the experience feeling very impressed.

I had this beer a while back when I was in mexico. We got it in stubby 1.0 Litre bottles and drank 'em straight so I can't say much about the colour although someone later told me it's a darkish gold/yellow.
This is a very basic beer with a bland lager taste (a lot like Sol in a way). It goes down nicely and doesn't leave much of an aftertaste. Although not very strong it yields a satisfying buzz (probably due to the fact that I drank about three litres of it). It's pretty cheap too so in summation I'll say it's a decent beer to get if you're low on cash standing undecided in front of the cooler at a Mexican 7/11 five minutes before midnight (when they stop selling alcohol).
