Served in a nonic at Blue Palms.
Clear straw/yellow colored body. Finger of white head. Dies down to a cap of foam and leaves really nice lacing behind.
Smells of fruity lager yeast and rustic bread.
Taste follows smell. Fruity lager yeast. Clean and ester free. Rustic bread. Pretty bitter and hoppy finish (surprisingly) with very subtle herbal and grassy notes.
Light in body, well carbonated, super refreshing.
Slightly hoppy, super refreshing and clean lager. Two thumbs up.

08/10/09- Had on tap at the brewery.
Presentation- Via the tap into a pint glass.
Appearance- Mid range golden color, in between light and dark. 1/2 inch semi creamy head with decent staying power. Not any real lacing.
Smell- Heavy on the malt. No adjucnt smell noted..maybe a slight note of hops.
Taste- Biscut and bready malted flavor. I sense some kind of added spice, but can't really pick it up...it's a good one though.
Mouthfeel- Mid to higher carbonation level. Fuller mouthfeel even though it's a ligher beer.
Drinkability- Nice lager here with an interesting flavor.

12oz into boot.
A- Surprisingly big snowdrift head on a golden amber body.
S- Pale malt, faint grain, sweet fruit.. very mild.
T- Mild bready corn. Not that sweet vegetal note I'm used to though, this one's solid. Crisp with a bit of honey and fresh green grass.
M- Mild, mellow flavors. Moderate body. Decent carbonation.
O- Easy drinkin'- almost forgettable. It's a background beer. I could plow through a bunch of these, but it's not something you really ponder over.

On tap at the brewery. Reviewed from notes.
Pours a light yellow with a nice, billowing who're head and a decent dose of lace. Nose brigs some nice grain characteristics and doesn't have any sort of cardboard or other off flavors, which is slays a plus with this style. Taste is quite plain with a bit of bread, which is enhanced by some prickly carbonation. Light body and really smooth overall. A nice offering and something I wouldn't mind seeing more craft breweries experimenting with.

Thanks Jon for passing this along.
This pours gold with a fluffy two finger eggshell head that dies down to a ring and island with some spotty lace. On the nose there is a mixture of wet grain, fruity esters, and a slight hop presence. In the mouth those pieces of the nose transfer over, with the fruity esters jumping out front of the grain. The body is light, and being nicely but not overly carbonated, this is a quaffable brew.
Overall, this isn't a standout at all, but as one other reviewer said it's a perfectly fine 'background brew.' This finished off a long Thanksgiving of porters and barleywines, and did fine at it.
