This was poured into a chalice. The appearance was a semi-hazy bronzed yellow color with a slight transparency about it. Some carbonation was seen rising at a moderate pace. Film of white foamy head dissipated into oblivion. No lace. The aroma had some butterscotch/light caramel, dried floral bits, banana, pear, leather, basement and white bread. The flavor did a decent job of blending but somehow for a Tripel, I was hoping for that Belgian spice which never showed up. Not much of an aftertaste, somewhat malty, but the finish was fairly quick with the floral hop portions. The palate was between light and medium bodied with a semi-sessionable sort of feel along my tongue. Carbonation felt fine. ABV did seem a bit under than what’s projected by the brewer. Overall, the feel is the best thing about this beer.

Big yeasty aroma with a phenolic touch. Sudsy with a pleasant prickly mothfeel. Lots of sediment in the bottle. Pours a hazy yellowish color in the tall glass.
Malty and sweet with a cake batter taste. Lots of fruit with pineapple and pears in the front. Barely a whiff of hops though the label claims this is brewed with Hallertau Tradition. The flavor is sweet Hawaiian bread or maybe Challah. Appley with some alcohol taste in the finish. This is like some kind of pastry with the sweet crust.
Overall, this is an interesting sweet sort of Tripel that gives some kick and fruity pleasure. Crazy sweet and definitely a desert beverage. Purchased at QFC in Seattle for ten bucks for the 750 ml bottle.

Pours a light gold color with about an inch of white head.
Smell is malty at first, followed by citrus. Has just a hint of spice as well, mainly pepper.
A bit fruity at first, there's a few flavors hard to identify, I am guessing the blend of grains used accounts for that. Has quite a spicy back to it, leaves a bit of a pepper aftertaste.
Good solid feel, no complaints about it.
An interesting take on one of my favorite styles. At first I was a bit unsure about it, but as I drank more, more flavors seemed to open up, and I found myself liking it more. Triples seem to be hard for US craft brewers to get right, but while not the best US triple I have tried, this is one of the better ones. Very much worth a try.

Clear golden colored ale with a tall white colored head.
Smells strongly fruity with a big apple aroma. Spicy with an edge of coriander but it isn't overpowering. Slightly medicinal and phenolic. Absolutely no scent of alcohol at all. Faint honeysuckle malt scent but it is restrained and lets the spice do the talking.
Starts out Mild and fruity with a spiced apple taste. Faintly sour after taste. Semi-dry malt levels, it isn't quite without sweetness. Slight black pepper taste. The taste is subtle yet just about perfect.
Mouthfeel is A little light.
Overall the drinkability is super! Tasty ale that doesn't stomp your taste-buds to death. Very highly recommended.
