Thanks to my friend Chris for this one (I think). Only date code is "217166", so no idea how old this one is.
12oz bottle poured into 14oz teku. Poured a mostly murky dark orange/light brown color with about 1/3 inch of off-white head that low retention and lacing.
Sweet malts had the front of the nose, with a nice earthy wheat behind it, and a noticeable alcohol scent.
Very similar on the tongue, with the alcohol heat being even more noticeable.
The body was medium-full, and very smooth, with a sweet finish.
Drinkability was very good, especially if you like the style (and, I do!).
Overall, a nice brew that should return to their line-up.

Day 17 of the Advent calendar 2017
This is REALLY good stuff. A version of barleywine with a bit less body behind it.
Very drinkable, and the high ABV is disguised well by hops and malt.

Big Sky Power Wagon, 11% ABV, 53 IBU. Pours light gold, with an excellent 1 finger off-white head that left excellent lacing. Nose is sweet malt, taste follows with a slight bitter close. Probably the sweetest beer I've had. Excellent mouthfeel, and overall excellent.
