Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a Lagunitas mason-glass.

L: Clear pale golden pour. 1.5 fingers of fluffy head. Falls fast... modest lacing.

S: Raspberry and citrus... as advertised on the bottle. Light wheat/grain.

T/F: Wheat beer character and raspberry at the start. Semi-sweet... citrus in the background with some grain. Light bodied... effervescent carbonation. The finish is mild citrus/lemon.

O: More of a raspberry wheat than a shandy/radler. More 'light-beer'ish than I guess I was expecting. Not bad... but nothing special. Forgettable lawnmower beer.

Poured from a brown 12 oz. bottle. Has a golden color with a 1 inch head. Smell is of sour berries. Taste is of raspberries, tart, dry at the finish. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall, not bad, but from a shandy, I usually expect a bit more fruity and juiciness, and it's not as refreshing as most shandy's.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, no bottle dating. Pours fairly crystal clear golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of juicy and lightly tart/tangy raspberries, lemon, citrus peel, wheat, cracker, bread, and light herbal. Nice aromas with good balance of fruit and pale malt notes; with good strength. Taste of juicy and lightly tart/tangy raspberries, lemon, citrus peel, wheat, cracker, bread, and light herbal. Mild herbal bitterness and fruit tang/tartness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart/tangy raspberries, lemon, citrus peel, wheat, cracker, bread, and light herbal on the finish for a while. Nice robustness and balance of fruit and pale malt flavors; with a nice malt/tartness balance, and no cloying flavors after the finish. Minimal dryness. Medium carbonation and body; with a creamy/bready, and lightly slick/syrupy/tangy/acidic mouthfeel that is okay. Feels really weird and not very smooth. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 3.5%. Overall this is a solid shandy. All around good robustness and balance of fruit and pale malt flavors; fairly smooth and easy to drink. Very flavorful for the low ABV. Balanced malts and fruits, but the mouthfeel ruins it; should be much more refreshing for the style. A fairly enjoyable offering.

Pours a crystal clear light pale straw with a decent pure white head that has good retention with clinging side glass lace.
Aroma: The advertised razberry is most prominent along with an earthy musky smell.
Taste: More razberry, has more of a fruit soda taste than beer.
Not experienced with the Shandy style. I found it refreshing and pretty good, but I want beer to not confuse me with soda like characteristics.
Still in the right circumstances of a hot summer day, this could be a good choice.

Just to give you an idea of when I had this beer the first time, I had just gotten home from work at 10 pm and just wanted to sit, relax and enjoy a beer. I had a huge variety of beer in my fridge, since I always buy mix variety packs of beer. This beer happened to be the one I pulled out. While I am by no means talented in rating beer, I really enjoyed this beer. It was fruity and incredibly refreshing after a hard day of work. I strongly recommend it.

This is a pretty good-looking beer, a dusky dark orange color with some lighter brown, maybe bronzeish hues in its depths with a foamy, bubbly head that settles to a film that remains for the duration and leaves behind some decent patching and spotting.
The smell is mostly dusky, some must with a bit of tartness to it. Somewhat nondescript with a noticeable if light raspberry element, it reminds me mostly of a soda.
This beer actually works best as a soda. It seems someone tried to infuse a bit of hops very lightly but in a way that turned the tartness more toward sourness and ends up less of a fit overall rather than complementing. Dusk and must make up the backbone with a bit of raspberry tartness and something sweet coming in as well that would be cloying but isn't due to the tart aspect and, to a degree, the feel.
Speaking of, it's a light-bodied beer, as it should be, with a fizzy sort of carbonation to it. The mustiness that characterizes one element of this beer keeps it from being cleans in the body as well.
It's an average shandy. It works well as a soda for sure.

I first bought this in a mix and match 6 pack from the Health Matters Market in Hickory, NC. (Best beer selection around. ) and this has become my favorite beer. I love Belgian Whit/Wheat beer usually, but this shandy is fantastic. the only way to explain it is if you remember the Ice Breakers Sours candies from back in the day, It tastes just like the raspberry ones! Tart, but smooth and its a great beer with food too.

Try it!

Smells like a summers day in a berry patch. Hint of a cider smell but a full fruity taste. There is slight carbonation present but an overall fruity awesomeness!!
