Tasted at the Big Buck Brewery in Grapevine, TX on 06/08/06.
Light yellow straw color with a low white ring for the head. Light malt and faint adjunct aroma and flavor. Nothing outstanding here which is good in this style of beer beacuse nothing is really off either. Light bodied, clean, and refreshing.
A typical but nicely crafted Light Lager for a brewpub.
Per Chalkboard at the Brewpub:
8.0 OG
16 IBU
3.5% ABV
Per BBB website: "Gold Medal Winner" ... GABF ?

This beer is "bud light meets the microbrewery" although in all fairness, they did not claim it was more than it turned out to be.
This was the "classic" light beer. It was pale yellow in appearance with not much of a head. Come to think of it, this beer didn't have much smell or taste either. It was very lightly hopped and no taste of malt. Best described as "thin".
It was definitely a cut above you mass produced light beer but it was still lacking in taste and appeal. If this is your style you should go for it, otherwise stick with their other offerings.
