Served in a pint.

A: pours a hazy golden orange color with a short tan head which is coupled with medium amounts of lacing.

S: Smells of wheat, yeast, citrus peels, grass and grains

T: Light and crisp. Tastes of wheat, yeast, malts, citrus, grass, tinge of hops

M: Medium bodied beer with ample amounts of carbonation culminating in an excellent summer beer.

O: Overall, this Weisse is an excellent complement to the warmer weather. It is crisp, flavorful and balanced. It’s also fairly affordable, or at least if you buy it in bulk from Costco.

Poured a burnt orange color with decent head that dissipated quickly. There was some limited lacing but did not really hold the glass. Outstanding smell, you get the sweet wheat plus some banana and citrus. Smells delicious. Taste was similar to smell but much more muted. Not very smooth. You get some carbonation but it is less than creamy. Kinda thin and fizzy. Overall a decent wheat beer that I would have no problem drinking but certainly not special.

From a bottle.
Hazy body is the color of dark straw and covered by a durable head.
Banana and yeast in the nose with hints of tropical fruits and faint spices.
These all carry over to the flavor which adds some white pepper.
Light and lively body.

From bottle. Faint aroma of citrus and yeast. Pours a hazy golden with white head. Very mild sweet taste. Medium body, creamy texture, and average carbonation. Overall a nice refreshing brew.

Poured into a Celebrator pokal. Pours a hazy golden amber with an orange cast; with a one finger white head with great retention and lacing. Aroma of wheat, hints of lemon very light clove and banana. Flavor follows with wheat and quite light clove, banana and some dry husky wheat in the finish, leaving a dry, spicy aftertaste. Light to medium bodied with great carbonation. A classic hefeweizen, but the flavors seem rather subdued. The flavor that is present is pleasant and carries through the whole taste, but leaves me wishing for a bit more robustness. A good hefeweizen, but in a style that has some really outstanding competition. Obviously well made and I will try other styles from this brewery.

500 ml bottle from Quebec, Canada, SAQ (Quebec authorized liquor vendor).

Now, I'm not as fancy as most people here describing the taste, smell and so on. I just know that when I love a beer, I love it.Period.

All I can say is that I travel to Germany 2-3 times a year, and what I've found available so far in Quebec is this excellent Hefeweizenbier that reminds me so much of our evening meals after a good day of work !

Refreshing wheat beer, very heart warming for someone missing the German hefeweisenbier abroad.

I just wish the SAQ would drop their price a little bit, so this would become a much loved beer in Quebec.

Just love it!
