Look: this is a dunkel Weizen not a regular Weizen. Chocolate brown color with a cream head.
Smell: malt, wheat, not really any banana though sadly.
Taste: floral notes from the yeast, wheat, and malt.
Feel: super smooth, just the right amount of carbonation

Poured into a Cobra glass. Enormous cream coloured one and a half hand head that very slowly dissipates, eventually leading to a permanent cap of froth. In which time you can sip at the head with brown yeast sediment patches. Body is teak/mahogany, very dark for a hefe and I thought it was a dunkle weisse at first.
Aroma of faint clove but beside that it was nearly odourless. Taste is brown bread, toffee and peppercorns with a tiny spicy bitterness.
Mouthfeel is soft water and sweet bread.
A high quality and relatively decadent beer for the price and abv.

From Decervecitas. In Bavaria hefe glass. After dinner. Darker than usual, with a thick bready body that feels fairly pleasant. Banana flavors are there but a bit subdued. 1 month before bbf date. Very foamy.

Murky dark orange color with off-white head. Aroma has sweet, slightly caramelized malt and some banana. Taste is also on the sweet side with nice wheat notes and some yeast. Medium to full bodied with medium carbonation. Quite good weizen, leaning towards the dunkelweizen style with its slightly toasted notes.

This one is closer to a dunkelweizen in color and flavor. Flavor is slightly sour, more like a rye bread/pumpernickel. Oily mouthfeel. I could easily mistake this for a roggen weizen.

From the half liter bottle, it pours a hazy amber with a nice large head (as one would expect from a Bavarian Wheat beer. Scent is as one would expect: banana clove and yeast. The taste is a bit different from other Weisses - a bit of bread with bananas, but with the darker malts coming through. Feel is nice as well. Yum!
