L - dark murky orange, big white head, lots of lacing
S -banana, sourdough, bubblegum
T - taste pretty much the same as smell. Sweet, grainy, really can taste the wheat / bread flavours popping out, but also huge banana and clove and bubblegum explosion. Also has a really distinct slightly sour /tart / funky taste that distinguishes it from any other wheat I have tried
F - feels very dense, carbonation is very moderate, probably the only drawback
O - Easily one of the best examples of the style. Highly recommended.

Popular in NY metro.
a) Pours an fogged, hazy, apricot golden body with a volumnous 2 finger head that lasts and laces.
s) Exactly on target: Clove, banana, lemon scents over a fall fruit orchard of cider and wet leaves. Harvest.
t) See saw of clove, fruit, ripe orchard with yeast, lemon, tartness on a whole wheat base. Refreshing mineral finish.
f) Medium bodied, creamy, with prickly carbonation. European / Belgian feel.
o) Above average German Weisse well-made. Enjoyed and must try.

Very nice hefeweizen. Creamy mouthfeel with a punchy smell and a very nice taste going after that. Clove, lemon, bready presence. Very nice all along. Perfect balance

Poured from an 11.2 ounce bottle into a Shaker pint glass, "best by" date 7/17.

APPEARANCE: pours an impenetrably thick and dark golden color with a three-finger white head, world class retention, there is significant lacing on the glass, medium carbonation (I think?), in a word beautiful.

SMELL: bread, banana and pears.

TASTE: the taste follows the nose, initially bread and banana then a fruity pear flavor.

PALATE: medium body and carbonation, somewhat creamy.

OVERALL: this is probably the best Weiss beer I have ever had, I would definitely have this again if I can ever find it! It has a unique fruity flavor that is very appealing, I would recommend to anyone who enjoys the style.

Opaque golden color and thick white head. Smells like a bale full of hay. Very well balanced taste, brings back childhood memories of playing tag on the wheatfield, and the losers had to chew grains, except this actually tastes delicious. Possibly the best hefe/wheatbeer out there.

Poured from a bottle into a globe glass

Look:
Medium-amber, hazy with a dense, off-white head that lasts.
Smell:
Ripe banana, vegetable, pungent grassiness, like the inside of a wet bale of hay
Taste:
Grainy, banana, malt sweetness with kind of a sparky spiciness on the back of the tongue.
Light malty finish with very slight bitterness
Feel:
Medium light body, highly carbonated

Overall
As wheat beer as you can get. Banana in your face. Pleasure to drink.

This is the beer that i rate just about every other beer. Pounding these at my local watering hole has filled many a day with good times. Its everything a hefeweizen is supposed to be. Lucky to have it on tap at many places in the area. It does not retain its amazing taste when from the bottle to me. Find it and drink it from the tap.
