This is the beer that i rate just about every other beer. Pounding these at my local watering hole has filled many a day with good times. Its everything a hefeweizen is supposed to be. Lucky to have it on tap at many places in the area. It does not retain its amazing taste when from the bottle to me. Find it and drink it from the tap.

Pours a hazy deep yellow almost orange with a medium head. A nice beer smell with a really good smooth flavor. A nice swallow with absolutely no aftertaste. A very good German beer.

P- Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a Funky Buddha snifter.Date on the bottle is 08/17.

Thick soapy, white colored head that stands one finger tall, with moderate retention and sticky lacing. The body is a light amber/orange color with low clarity, and distorted light showing through the glass.

S- On the nose I get sweet bready malt and cracker, with light banana notes. The smell is very bright and pleasant.

T- The palate follows the nose with sweet bready malt up front, sweet banana in the middle, and sweet toasted crackers on the back end.Very good tasting, and drinkable.

F- The mouth feel is medium with a sticky texture.Moderate amount of oxidation on the tongue.Smooth finish.

This is a very good hefe.Beautiful look, with a very pleasant smell and taste.I would definitely drink this again, and recommend to any beer lover.

Pours amber with a finger width white head. Smells very malty. Tastes like banana bread. Mouthfeel is medium due to the bread feel. Overall, one of the best beers I've had that's not a stout.

When I found this beer I knew this was the go to beer for me. I like the way it feels on my tongue as I drink it. I call it mouth feel. I can't buy it where we live so stock up when we go to Chicago.

Poured into weizen glass. Small head, but a nice patch of lace. Standard wheat beer color.

Nose of wheat and faint banana.

Similar bready wheat taste, with a few spice notes and malt.

Crisp, refreshing finish.

A good hefe, on par with varieties by Scheider & Sohn, and Weihenstaphaner, among others.

Pretty good hefe. Not quite on par w Paulaner or Weinstephaner but still a good choice. Not as much banana or clove as the two referenced hefes but more apple flavor comes through.

I'll stick w Paulener.

Amber with clean, crisp white head. Smells of wheat, sourdough, and faintly of banana. Tastes of bread crust, with a slight tang of pineapple and cucumber. It's refreshing (the carbonation hits nice), but a little weak in body. Still, an all around solid brew.
