,5L brown glass bottle coded “Minedstens haltbar bis Ende 04.22 L2207B10821”. Sampled on 02.10.21
€1,19 @ Aral Tankstelle, Goslar, DE
Look: Clear golden beneath a full head of white. Limited head retention and lacing.
Smell: Grainy malt with herbal and lightly spicy hops.
Taste: As the aroma suggests but fuller. Sweetish but also bitter with a dry, lingering finish.
Feel: Medium to medium-light in body and crisp.
Overall: Not the best quality but nicely balanced.

A - Pale, golden lager. A little too cold when I poured it; head dissipated almost immediately; minimal fizzy carbonation; no lacing.
S: Almost impossible for me to discern (probably my weak nose); biscuit; a hint of lemon, maybe.
T: Slightly bitter; sweet malt I think.
F: Pretty smooth; crisp, easy mouthfeel.
O: My first Dortmunder; poured from a can into a pint glass; can came from a German advent calendar. Decent beer but not one that I would seek out again. Metallic, slightly bitter, but crisp and refreshing.

From the bottle, it pours a golden color with a light head that quickly dissipates. To me it seems like the usual German mass market beer. Pleasant and easy to drink

I actually really liked this beer!
I drank it straight from the bottle, so I couldn't really see the head or appearance.
It has a pleasant taste with no bitterness, which in my books is a positive. It had a good amount of carbonation and a nice mouth feel.
Considering it's a "no frills" beer, I was very pleasantly surprised by this one.
I highly recommend this beer!

A bit bland in flavor though to be expected from style. A kind of like a beefed up version of becks or heineken, slightly more of that "green" metallic taste. A worthy beer to drink in the streets of berlin, certainly not anything worth seeking out though.

Litre bottle, poured about a third of it into a pils flute. 3 finger head, lots of bubbles. It kept the crown well. Normal pils smell, slightly on the sweet side. Mild taste, no bitterness but there was something missing. A bit unbalanced, also a bit grainy. Ok on the palate. Ok for the price but there are better beers in the price range

A: Clear golden pour with a large fluffy , a bit uneven head. Slow dissipation leaves decent lacings.
S: Malt, a bit unbalanced. Some faint bitterness and citric notes. A dry breadyness.
T: Sweet malt, a bit rough. Citric notes and bitter hops. A bit more bitter than other Dortmunders I've had earlier.
M: Body is creamy medium with a rich but smooth carbonation. Aftertaste is a bit rough and bitter.
D: This is a standard Dortmunder - not better or worse than other standard Dortmunders.
