L: Pours a nice brown-black color with a medium sized and medium bodied off-white colored head that laces the glass a little on the way down.
S: Smells of sweet roasted malts, more bitter deeper roasted malts, some bitter dark chocolate, and sweet milky-cream-lactose aroma.
T: Tastes of sweet roasted malts, bitter deeply roasted malts, a very sweet lactose taste mixed with dark chocolate for a really nice flavor.
M: Very smooth, warming, kind of thick, perfect amount of carbonation.
D: Very drinkable porter, this was almost stout like, but it was gone in no time.

Poured into shaker pint
A: Almost black with hints of mahogany color when held to light. Creamy, fine and tan, 2 finger head that lasts.
S: Coffee-caramel notes with hints of toast and raisins.
T: Get through the super creamy head and taste mild coffee and cream flavors which don’t really last. Hints of caramel malt and earthy tones.
M: Mildly dense in the mouth with very little carbonation.
O: An easy drinking porter that is quite sessionable; I could easily knock back a few of these and be content. It’s not the boldest beer out there, then again they do label it a “cream porter”.

Holy hell do I like this beer. I had it at the America Hotel in Lima, NY. They have it on tap. The look of it in the glass is just great. Nice dark, thick head that stays with you for a good long while. The color is rich and dark and very pleasing to the eye. It smells amazing. Nice roasty, chocolate, sweet smell to it. I liked the first one so much I had two more. lol. Mouth feel is heavy, but it's a porter, I'd be confused if it wasn't heavy. It's nice and smooth going down. Overall I think this is a very drinkable beer, and highly recommend it. I also recommend hitting the American and having a few pints and some of their delicious food.

Decently creamy, but finishes quite thin. There's milk chocolate and nice roast, along with the classic metallic character of most CB beers. This is near the top of their beers, as most of them are not very good.
